Isn't the comic infamous for being a slam rag made exclusively to make fun of it's demographic in all the wrong ways?

The only part of me I ever felt it was insulting was my intelligence.

It was one of the worst comics I've ever read, and the ending was awful. This from the man who wrote Red Son, too.

I watched Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers, a Netflix four part miniseries. I'd recommend it. Pretty dark and heavy for Marvel animation.

Just watched Der Untergang (Downfall). Went in rather dismissively, came out having found something very emotionally moving and thought provoking.

Quite pleasantly surprised.

I've been meaning to watch that for a while. Is it any good?

Watched some Futurama last night. Man, the Seven Leafed Clover episode always makes me feel.

Seven Psychopaths was quite good, not as good as In Bruges, but In Bruges is probably my favourite film ever.

Can anyone recommend some good TV series, I'm currently watching Six Feet Under and really enjoying it.

Yes. I bought the Steam version with the Team Meat commentary and I was crying with laughter by the end.

They've been brought in as supposed "experts" on independent game development, and they just spend the entire hour and a half making ridiculous, libellous claims; Like that Phil Fish is a 5-foot-tall ex-CIA assassin, or that Jonathan Blow sleeps standing up.

Arrested Development. It's relatively short, hilarious the whole way through and just some of the best damn Television you'll ever watch.

I think it was, it shows the other side of creating games and how stupid and immature gamers can be. I really like it. I still need to see "I Got Next" and "FOCUS".

The Newsroom has the largest collection of completely unlikable characters I have ever seen on television. I bet there are snuff films with more likable characters.

Well yeah. Having likable characters is the mark of a good snuff film, or else you don't give a shit when they die.

I continued watching ds9 - some strong episodes here and there, like this one.
when he cuts himself with the knife and the dramatic music kicks in, they managed to pull the story to a new level. the scene came completely unexpected and I loved it.

Don't suppose you watch ST: Voyager? I'm coming up to the last series soon and I've been loving it. The earlier episodes from the first few seasons are my favourite.

I liked Skyfall, It was nowhere near as good as Casino Royal but still enjoyed it.

My problem with it was I didn't really understand what was happening, especially at the end. I suppose I might of understood it more if I watched the old ones; the only 'old' one I've seen is Goldeneye and I loved that film.

yeah I watched the series. but from all the ST series, I dislike Voyager the most. although the premise is quite interesting, I didn't like most of the crew members. the relationship between neelix and kes feels implausible, but I liked the doctor and tuvok.
there are some good ep though; The Thaw is effectively creepy and Tuvix is one of the best of all the star trek episodes. I disagreed the decision of the captain and considered the act as murder.

funny, I think I even saw it twice, but cannot remember anything. that speaks for itself and for most of the franchise.

So I watched Looper today. In my opinion it wasn't as great as everyone's been saying, it was a decent movie though. I liked the plot and the whole concept of the movie very much.
In my opinion it was my film of the year. I also was amazed at how good Skyfall was, I think it's a lot better than Quantum of Solace or Casino Royale.

Right now I'm watching 24 (just finished series 3), True Blood (got back into series 4 after having given it a bit of a break), House (which is as good as people say, great plot and funny dialogue), Hawaii 5-0 (fantastic buddy cop show with good dialogue), Robin Hood BBC (under-rated and with some great actors like Keith Allen and Richard Armitage). Speaking of Armitage, I'm looking forward to seeing The Hobbit when it comes out. I've been listening to the audiobook for a few weeks now.

Even more so then Enterprise? Wow.

Voyager is borderline my favourite ST series along with Next Gen. I didn't watch DS9, Enterprise was awful, and despite it's legacy, I don't enjoy the original series very much. (Don't kill me) I like to watch just to say I have watched it, I can't call my self a fan otherwise and you really can't ignore it, it's so iconic.

Anyway back to Voyager, I did like the crew. I thought Janeway was a great captain (though her voice at first drives you mad ).
The Doctor and Neelix are the best characters in the show; Neelix is so darn charming, I just want to hug him and the Doctor is just a great character all-round, Robert Picardo is a legend. I don't like Seven of Nine. Yes, she's more interested then bloody Kes but she just became the center of attention half-way though the series. 'Ooh look at me, I'm a hot female borg'...yeah...

Episode wise, I loved all the two-parters. Ones that stick out for me are Future's End, Scorpion and The Killing Game. I've yet to see the finale but apparently it's amazing.

Was it worse than Quantum of Solace? I don't reckon that's possible.
You clearly haven't seen Die Another Day.

I thought Skyfall was good but not great. I didn't like the way that they deliberately tried to link Craig's Bond with the previous ones, which is completely anachronistic. And going to Skyfall revealed that 'James Bond' is his actual name rather than his codename, which destroyed that theory. And whilst the climax was quite well done, I prefer the big international intrigue plots, rather than the smaller, personal ones.

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAANN (wow cumberbatch has an awesome voice)
Several people involved in the production have stated that he's definitely not KHAAAAAAAAAAN. They might be bluffing mind you, but I assumed that they were going to avoid deliberate remakes in the new series. (I haven't actually seen Wrath of Khan, so I can't make a comparison. Just quoting other people here)

I started watching The Office (the American one) because I have never truly watched it. I started from the first season of course. So far it's been pretty funny.
So funny. Greg Daniels is a great showrunner. I advise you don't watch too far after the third or fourth season, it starts falling off there. But yeah, great show.

I'd rep+ you, if I could. I see what they were trying to do, connecting the male Q, Ms. Moneypenny, the old school car and everything, but it all fell flat, compared to the old ones.
