i love fishing, but now i find i prefer to watch others fish than actually do it myself. i love the actual fishing part, it's just the rigmarole of getting there with all your shit, setting up and then packing back up and going home after that i can't be arsed with. i'd rather just grab some beers and go with someone else for the day. i always wanted to catch a zander before i stopped fishing because they look like a cross between a pike and a perch, two of my favourite fish, but i never did.

That's what appeals to me about fishing. At the minute I have a basic spinning rod that I use both for bait and spin fishing. It does the job, like, my mate caught three doggies and a ling with the same rod as me.

Rock fishing is the shit, though, it's so dangerous and maybe that's what makes the traveling enjoyable. I moved to a seaside town and there is a massive cliff edge you have to climb down with all your shit and up again, and whenever it's high tide the waves come at you forcing you back. But it can be a bit boring waiting for bites, but even that's enjoyable.

When I was in high school, I practiced basketball, on an official team and everything, but the coach managed to fuck up, so I left. Since my 6 years old, I practice Karate-Do Shotokan. Right now, I'm a Regional champion and 1st Dan. I don't practice as mush anymore because of University, but I still got that itch to train, so whenever I can, I go for a run and train on someplace quiet.

Kids? None, since we fight in weight ranges and age ranges.

bollocks. i've seen full grown men training with kids. there aren't enough people within the same age group to do it like that. there's a gulf between beginners and the more advanced.

you fought kids.

Yeah, training, not championships. When I was younger, I trained with grownups too. I actually liked to train with grownups, they were almost impossible to win and would kick my ass, but the experience would be great against fighters among my age. As for championships, you DON'T fight other age ranges.

I like running...you could make it a sport if you challenge yourself to do qa certain amount of laps a day etc. It's a great stress reliever; whenever someone is pissing me off or I'm having a bad day I go running until I'm too tired to care, then I feel great later on.

Yeah, I feel obligated to tell you that I seen the Olympic torch today, wasn't that exciting. The best part of it was knowing, whilst watching some man gasping and wheezing up the road with the torch, that I'm not that unfit.
