There is something that's beginning to annoy me about the HD version.
All the save files just have 'progress' written across them, you have to wait till the file temporarily opens before you can see which region you're in and what difficulty you're on.
|
I have no idea if anything can be done about that, but I'll pass it along.
:
I experienced audio issues throughout. The music, and perhaps more noticeably the Clakker and Grub voices (when you speak to them) frequently cut out. With the music, it would just stop completely, then begin again shortly after. With the voices, I found that they would just stop mid sentence, and the character would walk off. Not too big a deal of course, though I was just curious to see if anyone else experienced this?

There is a problem where only so many sounds can play at once. Hence, if some Clakker off in the distance starts talking, an already-talking Clakker is liable to have to stop, even if it's you he's talking to. That said, I thought this had already been fixed. Something else to check on.
The problem with the music is due to the differences between the original XACT and the current FMOD. XACT had a lot of features that SW took advantage of for its dynamic soundtrack. Not sure if this is being worked on.
:
Lastly, (and a very minor thing!) If I remember correctly the 'Go organic' trophy for catching Meagly McGraw actually says 'Bounty Packrat Palooka' in it's description. I don't know if a patch could solve these, but just thought I'd bring it to people's attention
|
Yeah, someone caught that the instant the trophy lists were published. It's not a big thing, it'll get fixed in a patch.
:
Well, I'll have you know that I just beat McBoomboom, went back to town for some chit chat, and was rudely ignored yet again...
|
Funny... this was a bug in the original game, but we never spotted it on PS3. Nor did at least three separate QA teams. Hmm. Is the problem that
no Clakkerz are talking at all, not to Stranger nor to each other?
:
Just completed Stranger's Wrath HD, the first time i've ever played any rendition of the game ... was slightly confused by the ending... Who's that old 'guy' in the other guys clothes? And why was he in the other guy's clothes?
|
It's the old Steef! Sekto had been controlling his body.
:
I was also slightly pissed off when that guy had been hanged coz i was hoping he'd get the job done. I worked overtime believing it would happen.. but, oh no, that's him there hanging on that rope.. -_-

You were pissed?? Imagine how Stranger felt!
