This demo (may I call it a demo now?  ) is very nice, but hope final version will be 32x better  Keep up the good work!
PS: Do you still have problems with ripping sprites? Did you try:

The portal effect is because there is no more screens. The engine tries to go to the next frame but can't find the frame so only abe is repositioned and the screen number goes up one.
Unfortunatly them sprites do not include the standard animations. They only have action animations, like rolling, throwing, jumping ect.
Carnix is getting sprites for me so that's not a problem. Thanks for the links though.

It almost feels like I'm playing an Oddworld Game. I hope you can get the jump feature to work just as well.

Thanks, one issue I think will be hard is abe grabbing onto ledges, but hopefully it will be OK.

One thing I did a while back when I got a but sick of trying to fix that code was create an application of the game. The "Standalone" version of the game.
This will come with the demo, and is equipped with an auto-update feature that allows you to download the latest version of the game without having to reinstall (or re download) everything, only changing the files that have changed. It will also give you access to a number of different options.
