Odd Dreams

Posted 12-05-2009 at 11:50 AM by Pilot
I've thought about blogging this here for over a month because I've been having these strangely specific, vivid dreams revolving around OddTour.

Over a month ago, and I wish I'd written this down... like I said I was going to blog about it but didn't... I had a dream about being in England for OddTour where I was running around trying to meet up with everyone. First person I met was Wings of Fire (Joe) and we ran around the streets of London in the overcast, rainy dusk trying to find...

Who remembers the old NES classic? Better yet, who remembers playing it?

This game kicked my ass as a kid, but a wonderful plot and killer music both did it have. For those who don't remember it or who have never played it, the game is set in the tropical South Pacific. The main character, Mike, goes to visit his uncle Steve at his laboratory on "C Island" when he finds that he's been kidnapped by evil aliens. His adventure takes him from island to island with only a yoyo as a main...

I can't believe it, I was just listening to this song and it finally occurred to me what he's really saying. I already blogged about this song but I'm doing it again just to bring you the love.

You so bad!

Remember TLC?

Posted 11-21-2009 at 10:24 PM by Pilot
No, not The Learning Channel, the musical group TLC. They did the intro song to the old Nick show "All That."

I thought to ask as I was strolling down television memory lane, and Hellllllo 1990s!

Anyway, I just suddenly remembered this show I used to watch on Snick Saturday nights.

Napkin Justin

Just like it sounds. My sis just sent me an old pic she drew of me on a napkin. I think we were at a buffet and it is done with Keno crayon.

You'll laugh, you'll cry.... and probably whine.

Jerry Turner- the owner of a massive auto wrecking yard down in Fresno, California. He's nearly 90 years old and has run this yard since the 1950s.

His yard is about 10,000 vehicles strong; containing a selection of particularly rare automobiles dating back to the turn of the 20th century. Jerry's sold me many parts for various projects of mine. A group of friends of mine like to drive down to Fresno and wander around his yard just to look at all the old cars even if we don't need...

Sweethearts

Posted 10-31-2009 at 07:40 PM by Pilot
Now that I live in Suburbia I have the pleasure of answering my door to all the trick or treaters. I've been having some of the best mannered kids showing up at my door tonight; a great majority of them so far have asked for candy "please" with a cheerful thank you as they run off to their parents standing out at the sidewalk.

It's only 7:40 here.... the big kids haven't started showing up yet.

On another note, I just came back from the store with my younger sister....

A piece of my day

Posted 10-01-2009 at 05:35 PM by Pilot
Tim asked me out on a lunch date yesterday, much to my massive surprise.

So today I go over to his shop and we ride over to a favorite place of his called the Full Belly Delly.

We order our sandwiches (he ordered first and happened to order the SAME exact thing I wanted, btw, and I'd never been to lunch before with him) and started some small talk.

I say, "So last night I found out that the house I've moved into must have been inhabited by a smoker."...

I'VE DONE IT.

Posted 09-28-2009 at 09:08 PM by Pilot
I managed to grab my cell phone and snap a picture of this at the last moment, while trying to maintain 70mph, cradle a loaded hotdog in my lap, and hang onto a large 42oz sippy cup in the other hand.

COuld have snapped it a moment sooner, but considering all things, came out pretty good, no?

Oh yeah, this car has no seat belts.
