What video game franchises would you like to see brought back?

Personally...

I think a new Conker on XBLA would do really well, I mean it's not like Rare is doing anything else atm.

There is a rumor floating about that Rare is working on some sort of Banjo 3DS game.

Commander Keen!

Then again in this day and age there are plenty of titles out there like it. It did have a certain charm about it back in the day, though - And even today, many people still remember it (for example the enchanting symbols in Minecraft are from Commander Keen, as is the Dopefish which I keep seeing all over the 'net.)

It's not really forgotten as such but I want to see a new game. I know the UK didn't even get the original but I've played it on a emulator and its such a good series.

Maybe more so this.

And even though they ain't forgotten I miss the original Spyro and Crash games. A new game in their styles made by their original creators would be fantastic.

Oh sweet Gex! I just bought Gex 1 and 3 off PSN and they're hilarious, unfortunately they don't have Enter the Gecko. Platformers that appeal to adults are rare these days; I'd like to see more games target older audiences with cynical humor instead of just keeping up with this trend of making games "darker and edgier".

I actually agree with this. Original CnC is the best!

Anyway I'd like to see Jazz Jackrabbit being picked up again

I really think that series has the potential of being a very fun and wacky 3D platformer... And the music was just awesome.

I know a friend that can't actually run Gex on his pc (since apparently it only runs on some type of emulator (no not psx))

It would definitely be good as an HD game

Too bad it's being developed by an EA owned Maxis though. Also they are apparently planning to bring it out on consoles, which is worrying to say the least.

Hot damn! A new SimCity! Why didn't anybody tell me? Do you have a link to an article I can understand? That one reads like it was trundled through early 90s translation software.

My submission would be Jet Set Radio (Future). I so goddamn loved every aspect of this game. Maybe the upcoming rerelease on PSN and XBLA will spur more development on the franchise.
