I've long considered doing a generic superhero comic. The title is "Chicago Freaks."
Sledge
Name: Carl Davids
Age: 25
Height: 10' 2''
Weight: 520 Ibs
Abilities: Can lift 10 times his own weight. Can leap 3 stories streight up. His skeleton is as strong as steel.
Weaknesses: Can't run very fast, and is often forced to go quadropedal, running gorilla style.
Sledge is essentially a walking tank, all upper-body and arm strength. Being as tall asnd stocky as he is makes it difficult to fit into society, let alone a size 3x shirt!
He was human for maybe 6 minutes of his life before he was injected with genetic material that altered his form. The things that happened to him in his youth stay in his head, and he doesn't allow anyone to ask questions about it.
Enigma
Name: Unknown
Age: Undeterminable
Height: 6' 5''
Weight: 280 Ibs (body is very dense)
Abilities: Body is very pliable, can stretch as far as approx. 150 feet straight out and can reform in the same shape. His protoplasmic body has an adhesive quality to it, allowing him to stick to almost any surface. He can compress his body into a nearly flat surface. Along with stickiness, his outer layer is nearly impervious to damage, be it punches, bullets, or missle fire. He also has an unexplainable knowledge of almost every kind of lock/security system and how to deactivate them, possibly a clue to his past.
Weaknesses: Electricity is the only thing that can seriously hurt him.
Enigma is just that: an enigma. Nobody knows what he is or where he comes from, just that he was dumped on our planet one night with a wiped memory and no idea as to what happened before that.
E is a suprisingly adaptable creature, able to take in information at a very fast rate. He was able to comprehend every single language on the planet from one phrase: "Buddy, are you okay?"
He is also suprisingly skilled with any kind of lock, and is able to deactivate or unlock the mechanism with almost instinctive skill. This may be a clue to his life before earth, though the other teammates aren't sure.
To call Enigma a "he" would be soley based on "his" personality. The proper term would be "it," since he has no distinguishable reproductive organs. E apparently reproduces through mitosis (or splitting into two seperate beings). This actually occurs later in the series, creating an arch rival: Enigma's cromson-colored clone, "Anomaly."
