the sign seems to stick out, mabye make it darker so it can blend in better.

personaly i think it blends in better, but thats just me. so what really bothers you, how the sigh looks period, or how it looks in the game?

its how the sign looks, in game it looks ok, but im one for detail and theres just something about it, once ive done this sign the rest will follow so i need to get the first one correct.

! the outlines do not have a texture, mabey thats it, oh and the position is irrelivent, its not even going on that screen, its just the only screen open in fireworks at the time.



ive added rust and made it a bit darker, the outline that is.

well take a look at the original signs, they are old and dirty and rusted.

Heres NurveCo's Logo and the updated "Welcome To sign", theres an "Exit - No Return" sign to go with it.

I need help with a couple of ideas.

REQUEST ONE

I want 3 indoor places and 1 outdoor place on my game, i have

NurveCo - INDOOR
Feeco Depot - INDOOR

and thats it

I need another place thats related to a powerplant that uses mudokon nerves for power, like soulstorm has bonewerkz. I don't want a slig barracks but i may add it.

The outside level can be a place such as the temples, monsaic lines (which i actually may do) or stockyards, (but there wont be many sligs here because i may be adding scrabs or paramites.

EDIT: LEVELS HAVE BEEN THOUGHT OF

I need a name for my game, if you have any ideas than please let me know.

Naming is hard without any story known to us. Give us a bit of an idea and we'll come up with some kick-ass names.

Oddworld: Abe's Detronomy

Since 'Exoddus' is adapted from 'Exodus' in the bible I looked a few things up. To sum it up 'Deuteronomy' was a reminder of the past and a message for the future.

I think you pronounce 'Deuteronomy' "d-yoo-terr-on-O-mee". As for 'Detronomy', it's made up, pronounce it however you like.

The Game Story

[I do not know what i should do for the prelude]

He finds out that the power plant NurveCo is using mudokon nurves to power everything using Amplifierz, a machine made by "IntelliWerkz" (If you have a better name plase post) that requires mudokon inteligence (from there brains - Cred to carnix) to be able to get though the block mudokons have on there minds to extract the electricity and boost it (hence why you cant possess mudokons). he then first goes to intelliwerkz to shut that down finds out a bit more about Amplifierz and needs to go to monsiac lines to get a chant ring from bigface to beable to turn off the amplifierz and stop nurveCo, as you can guess he needs to go to FeeCo Depot to reach NurveCo, but after his last ordeal they have changed and tightened security, any way he goes to NurveCo, rescues all the mudokons and such blows it up with Director inside [Need directors name]

I use Adobe Fireworks, its not very popular because everyone uses photoshop. Fireworks is made to create Web Graphics but it can do anything photoshop can do if you put your mind to it.

Get the Trial > | you need to sign up, but just type loads of bull shit.

Fireworks, unlike most graphics programs is really simple, trust me in my graphics class, even the people who nothing about computers can use it.

If you feel like extening your trial for any CS4 product, PM me and im sure we could work something out , isnt that right btg?

About the nerves, mudokons are put into Amplifier Chambers that are a bit like tear extractors, alough to make the extractors they need AI like a mudokons to access the nerve circuit in the mudokon, so they use mudokons intelligence to create these machines which also enslaves mudokons.

hmm yerh, a bit like the free-fire zone but not as abandoned? i suppose i could have two outside areas, becasue i wanted one a bit like necrum also.
