Work Update
We have successfully got Abe's sprites and have implemented Walking, Running, Hoisting and Climbing up ledges. Thanks Carnix.

Most of the screens are in game now, there's is still a few to add though. Credit to Blackvenom for the backgrounds.

There is alot of bugs so far and alot of features to implement here are some of them:

Hoisting bug: Keeps hoisting in the same place on every screen
Floor Bug: If trapdoors are lowered there will be invisible holes in the floor in every screen.

I need to make Abe walk in a grid fashion, at the moment his walking is completely dynamic.

We have alot of work to do so far, but at the moment it's looking good.

Sorry, Flash only exports to EXE and the program I work with to make it into a customisable program exports to EXE only also.

Also 256x256 icons are not HD. I can easy create Vista compliant icons. (Which is the same as Mac).

My Mac flash saves as exe and Macintosh format. Hey, if you have to, when its done, just let me convert it

I'm not sending the FLA file, that's like OWI giving out there source code.

I will find a way for MAC users to use this, if I can't then there are ways to open EXE on mac any way.

I doubt it will be compatible though, the EXE uses the Windows registry.

It wouldn't be for online use. FLA would as you can edit everything.

SWF for desktop playing would be inappropriate because not everyone has Adobe Flash, also I cannot implement some features I'll need.

If you need a custom thing for the offline version, try using Cider, WINE or Crossover. I can test any mac stuff

What's that got to do with anything? I'm saying I'm not gonna give you the FLA. I know Mac Flash can output as .APP

Yes it can but that's not the point, I don't use flash to export it as an program. I have a third party program called SWFkit. It has loads of better features so I'm sticking with that.

Extremly Horrible news guys:

My bro was downloading a ton of crap on this computer and it now has:a Keylogger,A Wyrm, and Several Trojan horses. My parents wont buy virus software so they are thinking about wiping my comp! Im gonna try to put the storyline on my Flashdrive. But i have to be careful because if that flashdrive becomes infected from when i stick it in the USB port, So its a 50/50 chance. Also i may not be able to log onto my comp for a few days. I just wanted to tell you guys so you didnt think i ditched or something.

Download the Ubuntu Live CD http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
Burn it to a cd
Rescue any data you need onto a flash drive, then use the parition editor to wipe your system.

This is why you backup peoples!

EDIT: Have you tried booting into safe mode? Hold F8 after the BIOS goes away.

If I were you, I'd just write it anew in a more compact form. If you have a reasonable memory, you should be able to recall the basics and then just re-write any bits you can't remember.

Of course that's just me.

so why he published version in which is anything possible to do? In test version jumping works but in "full" it isn't. I thought it was caused by bug. It would be stupid if author remove this option and add mine with premeditation...

Because The 'full version' you refer to is the actual game IN DEVELOPMENT! This 'test' thing you speak of was Josh's prototype, a version where he tested the scripting. In the actual game development some things such as jumping are not implemented yet because the sprites/time are not yet available.

Gonna have to wait for Joshkrz to get online and tell ya that himself. He's the only coder on the project, There might possibly be some assistance for I'm in coding later but for now all of what has been done so far is all his coding.
