Yea in my group we have 3 Palletons one Clerec which is me and one ranger who is the DM. Are last mission was to search out a giant wild Bore who was rampageing villages. Well it turned out that the bishop who sent us on this mission was lieing to us and has opened a demon gate. So we are now dealing with an evil bishop. But I have to wait till next summer to pick it up because some of my friends went back to school in New Orleans.

Palletons? Never heard of them. A monster class?

And yeah, DND is brill. I was planning an adventure, but I've got too much important things to do (it was a great story if I may say so myself). Lower level characters is so much easier for DMs.

Happy RPG

I'm not a die hard fan of roleplaying games like D'n'D but I do play a little bit of Warhammer 40k. I have Eldar, Ork, Space Marine, Tyranid and Tau armies. I like painting the figures.

Warhammer isn't an RPG

We actually did pretty good for low level characters because we were faceing giant spidars, Orcs, Warewolfs, Welverins which is kind of like a small dragon creature with poisonous stingers, winter wolves in the dwarfen kingdom and something called a Barbazoo, and a bunch nasty devels and demons like hell hounds and hell cats. For low level characters we were strong.

Oddworld Warhammer

I agree with you to Jacob. I am more into the story and the characters than actually playing the game. I also like the overall look and feel of the miniatures. They are all pretty gothic.

And I know it isn't an RPG Sour Slig... but it is still a "table top game" sort of thing, like D'n'D.

As for The Two Towers... yeah I can't wait for that movie. Gollum will be awesome! ppprecccioussss.... hissss..... He is my favorite character.

The two towers comes out december 18th.

I'm only looking forward to it because Golem will play such a major role in the movie.

I like golem.

What is Golem? Why does he play a bigger role?

I guess we learn new things about members every day! I never expected Jacob to be a RPG player of any kind (even if it was some time ago).

As for me, I've never played any kind of tabletop RPG, never really had the opportunity to... I'm just a fan of the computer based RPG games.

As for the next Lord of the Rings movie... I'm really looking forward to it. I enjoyed the books as a teenager, and loved the first movie. It is one movie I wouldn't want to miss when it comes out at the end of the year.

I think the only reason why Golem is such a big character is because he was the first one to find the ring and he wants it for himself. Other than that I don't know.

I know he'll play a major part because I've read the books.

You might actually enjoy and appreciate the movie more if you read the books first.

I used to play Warhammer40k. That was one of the things I used to do. Large setup of Ultra Marines/Orks/Tyranids/Stortroopers. Its a shame the place to play went out of business about a year ago.

I never saw the first LOTR. I don't really plan on seeing TTs either. Just something thta didn't interest me. I'm thinking of reading the books sometime though. The're suppose to be great.

Well I have read the book "The Two Towers" two times I think and I'm really lokking foward to the movie, why?

1. More action in it then the first part, more orcs....

2. The creature Gollum

3. The avenge of the Ents....he..he...
