Yeah, when I tried to unzip the file using win self-extractor a message came up saying 'the data is either invalid or corrupted!'
Do you know whats wrong?

No, actually, I don't know what's up with this. I think it might be that I made it on a mac but then made it into a zip; maybe it had to be made on a windows.

Oh yeah! I forgot to ask! Does anyone have a program that will convert files from mac to make them windows readable? I'll post it again, but I don't think there will be much change.

PS: Can anyone read .tgz files or .sit files? I can try those too.

EDIT: Hey tybie_odd! I'm glad you asked. I used the program named Cocoa DR3. It is the very old version of Stagecast; I used Cocoa instead because it was free.

You can find Stagecast at http://www.stagecast.com I think there is a page devoted to Cocoa somewhere at http://www.kidsdomain.com It's very easy to use!

I tried downloading it but it said it was missing some sort of file and told me to download it again which is what I'm going to do now.....

I have been trying to confuse the demo in to thinking it has to use a different aplication to run it. I am nearly there so hang on and I might get it to work. Don't keep your hopes up though!
So far I have got SOME info out of it.

Sorry Mac, I only got some info on notepad but it needs to be decoded and I don't have a decoder. At the moment all there is are rectangles, poorley rendered but it will improve once I've worked it out.

Sorry I haven't posted for the past few days, I've been in California since Sunday. I got back at midnight last night, and I was dog tired; I could barely type! Anyways, I'm back, and I will be putting RUPTURE FARMS: SCRUB ESCAPE on sligpatrol.s5.com sometime soon. (It's not on there yet; I'll tell you when it is, though)

Well, the Scrub Escape level is finished and has been for quite a while; unfortunately, I just figured out that only Macintosh users can get the Cocoa plugin and play it online. But a while back, Apple sold Cocoa to a new company. They improved it and renamed it Stagecast Creator. In Stagecast Creator, you can convert old Cocoa files into Stagecast files. Also, PC users can play Stagecast games online. I plan to buy Stagecast, convert Slig Patrol, export it to an online game file, and put it online, so everyone can play it. Since Stagecast has many more amazing and cool capabilities than Cocoa, I will make many, many improvements to Slig Patrol, and make it much more enjoyable!

I said that I will tell you when it is online. I am still working on it. Just because I am not replying to this anymore doesn't mean that I abandoned Slig Patrol. I am still working hard to put it online. Again, please be patient!

On a lighter note, I have worked on the website, sligpatrol.s5.com. I have the ranks and characters pages up, but I am still hunting down some pictures for it. I will be adding new pages soon that focus on the items and hazards of the game. Hope you guys like it!

No, thank you. If you hadn't asked, then I probably wouldn't have posted my plans here, and everyone would think that I'm a big stinkin' liar and made the whole thing up.

Hey, here's a list of the things that I can do to upgrade Slig Patrol once I have Stagecast. Please tell me what I should and shouldn't do.

1)Backgrounds(this would take a long time)
2)Slig feelings
3)No multiple screens; it's just one big screen: "camera" follows you(this would save a lot of time)
4)Every single Vendo weapon (so even sligs can use lil hackers and Snuzis)
5)Power-up Vendos(I'm not sure about this one)
6)Health (bird style)
7)Gut splatters (AO style)
8)Mudarchers and Tomahawkers
9)Possessed creatures
10)Slurgs and Fleeches

Once again, please tell me what you think of these ideas, and wheter or not I should put them in Slig Patrol.

Mac you should do what you want. I would like all these things except for number 5, the power-up vendos. But you should do whatever you like. If you put the power-up vendos in I'll still like the game.

Really? Wow, I thought everyone here had a PC!

Well, the company that hosts sligpatrol.s5.com won't let anyone play it online, it just says "Cocoa Error" no matter what you do. I tried going to customer service and telling them the code they need to put in for the game to work, but sadly, the "send" button didn't work. So, frankly, I'm quite pissed.

You might still be able to play it via the .zip file that I attatched a few posts back. Try it, and then please tell me if it works. Thanks!
