My Game: Slig Patrol

Hello there,

I am creating a AO/AE type of game called Slig Patrol. You can download new missions off of the internet. It's cheezy, but it is the best I could do.

I have used some of the animations you guys gave me, and some screenshots off of some web sites. Should I just make a credits page along with it and list all of the names of people or websites that helped me? (If you have contributed to my game, please pm me with your real name and what you made)

Right now I am finishing it (I am working on the sounds and the menu) but you will soon see it on sligpatrol.s5.com. Here is some more info on it.

You start out as a crawling slig, and you work you way up. It goes like this: crawling, worker, flying, Big Bro, Armored Big Bro. You first choose the location, and then choose a mission. I will be frequently making new missions. Um, that's basically it...

Well, the gamespeak function is definetly going to be in it. I could manage to pull off a 2-player, but I couldn't make it playable with other people over the internet. Does anyone else have any requests for features in my game?

You won't be able to choose a weapon, but as you achieve better ranks, your weapon becomes more powerful and you can shoot or blast your way through stuff you normally couldn't. As for the bosses, I think it would be hard to think up a new boss for each stage cuz there's not that many creatures you could use as bosses in Oddworld. Each stage is just a simple task (like shoot down all of the escaping mudokons or round up some slogs) but once in a while I might make a much larger stage with a larger goal.

Those are screens from the level I'm working on. There won't just be industrial-RuptureFarms kinds of levels, I'll make some in almost every location: Scrabania, Paramonia, Soulstorm Mines, Vykkers Labs...

Can you add a backdrop to increase atmosphere, I'm sure the level is still being worked on. I can't wait to download it.

Unfortunately, I can't add backgrounds.

I wish I could, but the stupid program won't let me.

I know it sucks without the backgrounds. I might be able to use it in the future, though...

Now when I went onto your download section, I went onto the 'mainmenu' download. It did not work, it just came up with 'error, file not found', do you know what happend?

Does anybody have a flying slig animation? (besides the one on oddworld.com)
Also, do you have a picture of an AO/AE grenade explosion?
