OK, um, I have a question...

I have a menu halfway done. It looks like the Slig gamespeak screen, and you first click on the location you want, then the level. Now, you could do this just by folders, and the game would be released a lot sooner. Should I finish making the menu, or just do the folder thing?
Thanks!

Yeh, keep it like it is. I don't care if it looks bad. This game is going to be good. Keep up the extensions.

Thanks, blood!

I am terribly sorry, everyone.

When I purchased Munch's Oddysee, I was practically done with creating my game. Then, I saw the rank system, and completely remodeled the rank system and passwords. Now I will have to postpone it till Tuesday. Again, I am very, very sorry. You can flame me all you want, I completely deserve it.

OK, back to the menu thing. It will be encredibly easier for me and everyone else if I scratched the menu idea, and I could also release it earlier. You would just use the folder system. First, you would open the Slig Patrol folder. Then, you would open the folder of the location of your choice. After that, you would open the level of your choice. Also, if I created the menu, I would have to preset the limit of levels I would make. But if I used the menu system, the number of levels I could make would be unlimited.

Thanks for not flaming me, everyone!

dumboddrw: I can't play your game. I have a ghetto mac. (Well, it's not really ghetto, it's kinda new, but I still would rather have a PC) I wish I could play it, it looks very neat.

Yeah, actually, I do.

My program hasn't been working right for the past few weeks, but I should be done fixing it REAL soon. It's a shame that it just stopped working right then, though, because I am VERY CLOSE to finishing it. The Scrub Escape level (the first one that comes with it) won't be done for a little while, I will be able to release the main menu soon. I'm not going to type any more release dates; they will probably be innacurate and make everyone wait even longer. I don't want to dissapoint you guys again.

Every location in the game has five missions.
The locations will be:
Bonewerkz
FeeCo
Soulstorm Brew
Soulstorm Mining
Rupture Farms
Splinterz
Vykkers Labs
Slig Barracks

(40 levels overall)
If you would like to know the names of the missions in a specific location, please reply.

Thank you, everybody, for being very patient and helpful with Slig Patrol. I know it has been quite dissapointing with my two horribly innacurate release dates, but hang on a little more...it'll be out before you know it!

I would like to see a timed level at the end, like the ones in AO an AE where the place will explode and you have to get out before it does. They added some much needed tension and variety to the games.

P.S. Could you tell me the missions in Splinterz?

P.S.S. Are there different styles for each level?

W200Xavier: Once you have completed all of the missions, there will be a secret suprise mission
I'm not sure about last level bosses and stuff...
There will be some secrets in there

MojoMan220: Yes, that's a very good idea. I might do that.
The Splinterz missions are:
Toothpick Run
Toothpick Run 2
Lock Em Up
Lock Em Up 2
Lock Em Up 3

I'm not sure what you mean by the different styles. All missions will have different objectives, if that's what you mean...

For the menu, you use the mouse...

For the missions, you use the keyboard:

a, s, d, w=walk left, down, right, up

A, S, D, W=run left, down, right, up

e=shoot right

q=shoot left

space=use lever/other stuff

it would be easier to use.
no?

That's how it originally was.
But then I realized that you had to run in certain situations...
That was the best I could come up with.
Does anyone have some ideas? I think that arrows would be more convenient, too. But I need to incorparate the running in it...help!

Any other questions about Slig Patrol?

Wired It's finally here!

Hello there,
The demo for Slig Patrol is finally here! (It's the Scrub Escape level)
Since this is a demo, I have disabled the passwords. You start out as a Slig Popper, but in the real game you start out crawling. (I have made it a demo because I want you guys to test it out to see if I skipped something)

CONTROLS:
a, s, d, w=walk left, down, right, up

A, S, D, W=run left, down, right, up

e=shoot right

q=shoot left

space=use lever/other stuff

PS: I don't know why it's so freakin' slow; I'll release a faster version as soon as I can.

PPS: I don't know if this zip file will work, either. Please reply with what you think about the game.
