Statikk, proving evolution occurs is like proving the sky is blue. Unless you're colour-blind, you should have no problems in accepting the sky is blue. Evolution at its most basic level rests itself on rules that are in accordance with nature. If you argue against evolution, you argue against natural laws. All living things are equipped with the tools to evolve. We all have DNA, and it's long since been established that DNA changes via a number of means, whether it be through sexual reproduction or through mutation. Variation in the phenotype (visible outcomes of the genes) is what results, and common sense tells us that those with characteristics beneficial to their survival have an increased chance of reaching maturity, gaining the ability to produce offspring, who will in turn possess these beneficial characteristics. The environment is what chooses which organisms will survive and which will die. A changing environment suggests a change in which organisms will live.
