Everyone lets stop talking about he masks. Let JAW do what they think is best. Me and loads of others think it should be the new version, as in the screenshot. Others think it should be the original one. Some think it should be both.
Most people don't care, and wish that those of you who do care had been aborted, which clearly would have happened had your parents known that you would become the sort of people to have an opinion on which fucking visor should be used for a video game character.

Now, I think it's time to discuss something that is very important. What are you, JAW, going to do with the sounds and music? For me and I think most, if not all, other people, the music and sounds was a massive part of the game. So, what's Abe HD gonna be like?

OANST, yes I get what you mean, I agree. However, I think that there's nothing wrong with having an opinion on something but, like you say I think, when people are having arguments over it and stuff, yes it is stupid.

It's so stupid because it's such a small, irrelevant detail that won't exactly define the game. Seriously this is very similar to the whole green eyes discussion in the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

I can't wait to see gameplay footage of this, I just know I'll get upset at how I can't go to eurogamer

I think the old visors looked better than the newer ones, but it's probably because that's what I'm used to. In the end whatever they go with suits me. Though having both would be pretty awesome.

If it's meant to recreate Abe's Oddysee, well then even the minor details should be almost exact. Why? Because it makes the OCD fans happy!

Personally I don't mind because both look good.

...However!

I always thought that visor fitted Rupture Farms because it looked more aggressive, that and the Slig sprites had it as well. The two-eye visor looks too friendly.

I'm just going to go with my idea I made before and why not have both?

I wonder if any other enemies, like flying sligs, will be added somehow. Sure it's meant to be an AO remake but sitll, maybe as a bonus or just as an extra enemy or something.

I agree with CrashPunk, saying that the old visors are scarier. The old visor makes the sligs seem more robotic, and thus, more merciless when they spot you. The 2 eyed visor somehow makes the sligs seem like theyre more clumbsy, and weaker. The old visors look demonic.

It does give them more emotion, I think is the right term. That also adds to the comedy aspect of Oddworld though.

Great job with the game so far. From a development point of view, do you focus mainly on game play/functionality for the upcoming event and then add in the little details later down the track?
