I'm going to go have another attempt at Limbo.

Messing around with that game is pretty fun actually. Making 5 other stars in the solar system and see which Planets go to which.

I'm such a nerd.

I haven't played it, but I think I will tonight. It doesn't look very scary, to be honest.

EDIT: Can't find a good download link. Dammit.
It's not that great, I wouldn't worry too much.

Gonna play through Banjo-kazooie for the millionth time soon. I love that game.

Well to be honest I don't consider myself a Nerd or a Geek. I was just saying I'm a nerd because what I said before is...nerdy. I don't want to get in one of those discussions about labels and such though.

I have every single achievement for it on Xbox, but now that I've switched to Steam, I'll have to do it all over again!

How the hell do I complete test chamber 10 in 70 seconds with a mouse?

You could probably do it in like 30 seconds when using a Mouse. Mouse + Keyboard are better then a Controller, Especially on Portal.

I finished Ghost Trick today. Damn, what a fucking ending. It all got really, really strange towards the end but they explained it all really well in the end. The game was absolutely amazing though it has very little replay value since it's a pretty linear experience. Probably the best DS game I have played.

Yes, I know that. It's just I'm used to using a controller.

I just got an original DS* a few days ago and been looking for some interesting games. I know Ghost Trick is well-liked, but how does it play?

Get Mario Kart DS. One of the best racing games I've ever played, and it's on a handheld. Who'da thunk it?

If you're looking for recommendations...there's mine. I put so much time into that game.

Well, I do have an unhealthy love of kart racers... I’ll keep that in mind.

To pre-empt others, I already plan to get some Pokemon games, Scribblenauts, and Okamiden.

It plays like a puzzle game, which it essentially is. You can use the stylus or the d-pad to control your spirit from an object to another. You'll get the hang of it very quickly. Also, it has a ton of dialogue so it's not a full-on action game if that's what you're looking for. But yeah, get it. It's fun and the story is good and the characters are very unique and ridiculous in their own ways.

Besides being a huge nerd who likes to own games, I get the feeling that just buying the game used will be cheap enough to justify.

Nepsotic is right. I ended up trading in Scribblenauts for very little money, just to get it out of my house and improve the average quality of my game collection. It's really not worth owning.

If you like puzzley games, try Meteos. It's ostensibly a Tetris/Bejewelled clone, but done with enough subtle complexity to be really interesting.

Hell yeah, Mario Kart DS is still an amazing racer. I loved the missions you can do.

If I could recommend DS games I would say WarioWare Touched!, Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Bros, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver or Black/White and Metroid Prime Hunters.

And you've just reminded me, I still have a few DS games I need to try out, some being Metal Slug 7, Okamiden, The World Ends with You, and the Chrono Trigger port for DS

Metal Slug 7 isn't really worth it unless you get it for around ten bucks. I bought it for that price last year and completed it once (it's pretty damn short) and never played it again. The Chrono Trigger for DS is great.

I was only giving Metal Slug 7 a look because I love the series and I think it would be a pretty neat game to have a Metal Slug game handheld. I've also realized that Metal Slug Anthology is out on the Wii and I still don't own it.
