Also if you're broke, precious stones like diamonds and amethysts are fucking everywhere in the DLC.

It does nothing for me, though. With all houses bought and smithing at 100, not much to buy. Also, you can finally craft arrows in addition to bolts for the crossbow.

So, if there's new skill trees does that mean that the level cap has increased? Because I've been at the top for months now and I forget what it's like to see LEVEL UP. Is it even out yet? How much is it?

Just finished Psychonauts. Well, not finished completely, I still have to collect the rest of the baggage/figments etc. I was very impressed, and I might have to say it's one of my favourite games. Hopefully the sequel will be as good!

As awesome as I think Psychonauts is, I think things can really be expanded upon with a sequel. Gah, I just love the characters and want to see more of them.

Too much stuff to explain. I can say it's pretty damn good and didn't disappoint, if you don't mind the odd bug (bodies frozen in a standing posture after being killed, dropped equipment floating...)

Other than that, pretty solid. Lots to do, well worth it.

Also... new dragons, crossbow, vampire lord, werewolf skill tree, new armour, armoured trolls, new generic enemies. The new skeletons are tough as shit, no more 'clank' and fall apart. It's like fighting a mob of deathlords.
Wait, what? It's already out? Damn. Better re-buy Skyrim then.

It is for the 360. For the PS3 and PC it isn't out for at least a month.

I went back and started Diablo again now that I'm fairly bored of D3, but it just feels clunky and the resolution annoys me so I downloaded the Torchlight demo. I really enjoyed it. Pre-ordering the second on Steam also gets you a copy of the first, so I'll be doing that.

It feels like D3 did at the start and from what I gather it stays just as exciting. Within a few minutes I picked up a "kill this big, horrid monster for reason X" quest, which were completely absent from D3. Also, scrolls for identify and town portal

I still haven't finished Diablo 3. I don't know if I will, it was honestly kind of disappointing. Maybe Diablo 2 set the standards impossibly high, I don't know. I felt like a lot of what made the second so great was missing: the skill trees, the interesting story, the remarkable new landscapes... Diablo 3's zones are pretty much carbon-copied from Diablo 2: you've got your grassland/marsh zone, desert zone, snowy zone (which was pretty much act V from Lord of Destruction), and finally, Hell.

I'll probably get back to finishing it when the servers are more stable, but right now, as a long time (10 years+), I can honestly say it didn't quite live up to my expectations.

The lack of skill trees was especially disappointing. I was relieved to see them in Torchlight.

Diablo 3 felt really uninspired in so many ways. It seems like they made D3 for the sake of it, rather than doing anything good. One of my biggest gripes was with the weapon types. There was no difference from a sword to a spear to a club, you just chose whichever one had the higher DPS. There weren't even really trends in which hit more. They should have made certain weapon types enchant different stats at higher rates or at least something.

I've said it before: Psychonauts is one of the few games where a wholesale cloning, plus new story and locations, would be sufficient for a sequel (provided it's made by the same people).

There are so many story elements that were hinted at in the first game that it's obvious they intended to make a sequel. The whole Hand of Galochio thing alone would make for a great sequel.

The second episode of the Walking Dead game came out today on Xbox and I played it through a few hours ago. It was pretty good, better than the first one I'd say. A few more surprise twists and I do recommend playing the episodes if you like point 'n' click style games and/or Walking Dead.

It lasted around 2 hours to get through it but there are a lot of different choices you can make though so I'd say it has some replay value. My only true gripe with the game is that it doesn't run so smoothly, whenever you get an achievement/trophy or make a big dialogue decision, it kinda lags out for a bit and sometimes it can be really tension breaking and annoying.

So I got Downpour for my birthday anyway (currently waiting for HD collection). Despite all the bad reviews I've seen, I actually really enjoyed it, especially the end, final boss was a bit weird, though. I mean the actual final part, after the boss. 'Twas epic.

PLaying through Resident Evil 4 again. It's as great as always.

Also played some Lumines on my iPod. Used to have it on PSP, but I lost it or something. Anyway, great puzzle game, best since Tetris, I think.

No matter what difficulty I'm on, the only thing challenging about Resi 4 for me now is the mercenaries, mind you, the mercenaries was always tough ever since it began on Resi 3.

Agreed, he's just your average cop/agent dude. All the other characters have way too much baggage.

I hope he doesn't end up with a bunch of emotional baggage in RE6. He seemed pretty okay at the end of RE4. Dude's unbreakable.

Also, I'm thinking of getting back into TF2. I haven't played in years. Is it still popular, and fun?

Currently working my way through Abe's Oddysee again. Just got back to Rupture Farms, so not too far from finishing now.

Undecided if I wanted to dive straight into Abe's Exoddus afterwards, or take a break first and start something else. Oddly enough I too have been contemplating re-starting Resident Evil 4, it's probably in my top 5 games of all time.

Oh, and I'm also working my way through a Nuzlocke Challenge on Pokemon Soul Silver, only got the 1 badge thus far though.

I've been playing Asura's Wrath. It is barely a game, with the majority of the action coming from quick time events and each part you actually control is just used as almost a break between each extended quick time event (and the combat is kinda repetitive).

But MAN that game is amazing. The visuals and what actually goes on in the cut scenes is just so fucking japanese it is astonishing. It is like what I imagine the creators of Dragon Ball Z or Naruto would make if they were on copious amounts of drugs.

Agreed, he's just your average cop/agent dude. All the other characters have way too much baggage.

I hope he doesn't end up with a bunch of emotional baggage in RE6. He seemed pretty okay at the end of RE4. Dude's unbreakable.
But the amount of cheesy dialogue in 4 is hilarious, albeit not as bad as the older ones... (You, the master of unlocking, should take it with you)
