Swimming Slogs!

Swimming Slogs was a great idea since the fleech. I think that is going to add a little challenge for Munch. Mann what are those Vykkers thinking up?

The master guru says that swimming slogs are possible to be, only slogs will have trouble swimming, for they are heave and have an awkward body structure.

If you look at their general body shape, they look more adapted to swimming than, for example, Munch... Having not played the game, I picture them swimming with their legs behind, wriggling, or else like frogs. Am I right?

Swimming slogs?!? I still think that the Sea Rex should of been added. The Sea Rex is so much more creative than swimming slogs...

ive only seen one stage with the swimming slogs (when munchn is escaping from vykkers labs)and since the water is kinda low in that area they're not technically swimming...just kinda wading along in the water...i agree that the sea rex shoulda been added, it was a cool idea.

The master guru adds that the slog doesn't have any arms.

Master Guru knows they have legs. But they don't have arms. That means it would be very hard to swim.

The master guru has obviously never watched frogs/whales/fish/other-relatively-armless-aquatic-creatures swim... If they have arms, they use them arms for steering, in most cases.

And I thought running slogs were bad enough... There's no escape...!

*runs round screaming*

Okay, I'm all right now.

biscuit was right. they aren't swimming, they're running around in shallow water, but the watter is still shallow enough for mucnh to swim around in it. so as of yet i have not seen any swimming slogs, and i just got to splinterz.

no, i'm not 100% positive about that, but if you notice they never follow you outside of the shallow areas, and it looks very much like they're just running around. and i don't think that OWI would have kept them structuraly the same as the other slogs if they were swimming around. they usually pay a bit more attention to detail than that.

Those slogs were not swimming, they were walking in shallow water. You can tell this because when munch swims to the deeper water, the slogs can't get him. It is like a level that abe can walk in shallow water, while munch swims in it. Also when you zap any of the slogs into the water, they drown.
