Hi, Pinky, how are ya doing? I told told you not to take it personaly

when I said you seemed to be closed minded I said specifically in this discussion, inside this topic, here in thies forum. I believe I'm not judging you. I don't know you personaly, though I think you maybe are a great girl, and I'd be honored to become one of your friends(besides,if this pink heired girl in your signature is indeed you, I'd say you're hot sexy, ) no offense.

In my comments I'm not trying to deny God. I myself consider that I am a Christian too, but I strongly disagree to most of your oppinions on this matter.

Of what I know about Science, I strongly believe that it doesn't deny God. If you read my first reply to this topic, you are gonna have a clearer understanding of my beliefs.

The fact that the Earth was created 5 billion years ago, and was not created in six days does make perfect sense to me, and I think it doen'st deny God.

The fact that humans are primates and relatives to chipanzees, gorillas and other Apes, and thay all have a common ancestor does make sense to me, and I think it doens't deny God. Because the whole universe has natural laws, created only by God.

Scientists try to unerstand and describe these natural laws, like gravity, electricity, atomic interactions, matter and energy, biology, mot of that to a practical use. After all, I'm only supposed to talk to you via this forum because a whole network of electronic devices were only possible to be builded applying of the modern Science humans has been developing in the last ten thousand years.

In one sentence: I'm a Christian, but I'm also a man of Science, and I have no mind conflicts because of that. Period.

To Quorisha: I love you, sister.
Stick with your beliefs, and I'll stick with mines, even knowing that because of that, you think I'm going to burn in hell. Peace and Love.

PinkHaired: I think you're missing my point. I don't have a problem w/ Christians wearing jewellery or anything like that. The church I used to go to when I was a kid, a lot of adults would wear jewellery. Christians don't have to give all their money to the poor or dress down to be humble.

My argument was actually the tele-envangelists that get on TV and tell you to donate money to give to the poor or to help God's word... but in reality, they are using it to buy themselves expensive clothes and jewellery or live a luxury lifestyle. A perfect example of this is Jim and Tammie Baker from the mid-80s. It is well known that they used money people dontated to them to live the life of luxury. People sent them money on the basis that they were helping the poor... but in fact they were lining the pockets of these two.

That is what I am against... I would donate my money to a repuatable cause (Christian or non-Christian), but I do not want to risk giving my money to someone who is going to spend it themselves. And although these types of tele-evangelists are not as common as they were, they still exist, and it is simply exploiting the Christian religon and exploiting people.

Lampion: I apologize if I truned something out the wrong way and if i sounded very misleading or mean, i try not to though. I mean, I just don't see how the Big Bang Theory Become it. It just does'nt make any sense to me. How can an explosion, make such a complex universe and life? If Humnas evolve with monkeys, would monkeys exist today? There are alot of question popping up in my head that I am unsure about, and don;t quite clear up.

I would love to be your friend too! I love everyone on this board! Even thought they want to be as cooky as me! ahem lady Elum, lol. But I also attend to keep my self in shape and take care of my looks. I am so called...sexy! *giggles*.

There are some christians, catholics, protestans who are scientist who study evolution like What SyDmAn said earlier. They just like to study it. There are people who believe in both, like what SyDmAn said. But i hope that i don't want you to think that I am damning you to hell. Or think that you are going to hell. I have no clue where you are going There's Spiders down there!!!!!LOL. Peace.

Abebabe: Oooops! My bad! LOL. There are people who spend the church money and brag about how much they give, and you need to give and give you a lecture. And they don't even give themselves, so it makes them hypocritcal. I mean, It's dangerous to play with God's money! I seen those people before But i just won't worry about them, because worrying useless on things like these because, God has the last word and will get them in the end. It's best to worry on yourself. Because, my mon gave me a good point. I was angry at people like that too. And my mom said if I make that excuse if front of God, he would tell me "Well what did you do?!" I mean, you can't be too busy to watch over other people, when your situation could be just as worst. You know? I'm not saying that you are like that but people tend to make excuses. Anyways, yeah it does kinda make me sick to see them spend the money and at hypocritical. not all are like that though. I really don't mind giving my old clothes to the poor (which i don't think they would! LOL) or giving a tithe each week. I do that out of Love and God gave that attitude to me. I don't do it for show and brag about it. Like I said, God has justice, and will deal with them. I love these fuzzles!!!!!!!!!!

heheh, yas so funny^_^

God said BANG and it happened!

I mean there is so much proof that the Bible is rEal! For one, yes they found the ark on a mountain between hungary and russia!
they found the dead sea scrools.

and the most proof, is they never found the body of Christ! ta-da, how amazing is that?!

but for all the ppls who has to havr tangelble proof, God left some, but all I need is faith!

I know for a fact that Jesus Christ is real.

(Okay I cant prove it by showing you him, but can you see the wind? yas know its there!)

and plus its hard for me to say hes not real, cuz he always talks to me, no dont listen by your ear, not your brain, but your heart!

Here I found this , and hopes you enjoy reading this...

Dear Child of mine,

Have you ever lost something that you didn't really expent to find again?
Sure, you rummaged around the house looking for it, but since you didn't thin you'd ever find it, you didn't really look with much hope or expectation. You know what happens in those situations? Since you don't expect to find it, you rarely do.

Some People look for me like that. "Oh God's out there, but he's to far above me, I'll never reach him." Believe me when I say that if You'll put your heart into looking for me, you will find me! I am so close to you. Open the eyes of your heart and realy look.
Expect me to be here, because here I am.

your Friend

I found this in a book I was reading^_^ and very much enjoys.

I hope this doesn't start another fight because I seem to have lots of problems with that on thses forums... But, believe me, Pink Haired, I hope I'm never EVER like you. I've always been like this, so don't take it upon yourself to say YOU of all people made me weird. You're just jealous 'cuz I'm weirder than you. This topic wasn't started so you could critisize every one.
Lampion: blah blah
Abe Babe:blah blah blah....
Do you want peopel going around listing everything that bugs them about you?
If you were really as "Christian" as you say you would be much more open to other's beliefs.
I don't think we should have to judge people by there religion and all that jazz. But, at least Sydney thinks we're "mature" enough to handle it... I hope he's not wrong...

this is what i posted earlier:
:
I was raised(more like forced, but I wont go into that) as a Roman Catholic, but I don't follow it. Basically, I DO believe in higher life forms watching over us (something like the 'Q' from Star Trek). To me, all religions are basically the same...they were created by village elders and the like to help explain why things are in the world. I don't really believe one enity created the Earth just like that..(ok I believe in the Big Bang theory), but rather many such entities 'assisted' in making the universe as it is today, and still are (again, kind of like the 'Q').
Now continueing where i left off..

These entities would ocassionally make themselves known to the lower life forms, and the lower life forms would see them as gods. Now their reason for this varies, whether its to guide them to a better life, or because they have a big chip on their shoulder..

*offside* Stafonos: I HEARD THAT!

feh, whatever. Anyway, on to the evolvotion bit. In the bible it said it said that there were just Adam and Eve, now i have trouble believing just two ppl existed in the beinging that are responible for the whole world population of humans, unless you included Lileth but I still have trouble with it. Talk about inbreeding! No to me envolution had to take place. Humans and the other animals can't just 'appear' out of thin air. Not even my character Staros has the ability to create a living being out of nothing just like that (and he is the most powerful of my god-like characters). Like I said, I believe higher life forms 'guided' the evolution of the human race from its simplest form to what they are today.
Back to the Bible (sorry for jumping around), I do believe it is nothing but a collection of stories written by early humans trying to figure out how and why things are (this is mainly the old testament im talking about..). I'm not saying the whole thing is bogus, as every story is based on at least a little bit of fact.
Example: Moses and the burning bush. the bush burning and it surviving unharm a miricule right? wrong. It was a miricule to those who witnessed it back during that time(moses), but in recent times, sciencists discovered a bush, which, when it became hot enough, burst into flames due to its flamible sap. I think it had to do with it being a low temp fire or something like that (it was a while ago I heard of this), but when the flames died, the bush was unharmed. Act of god? no, Act of nature (good old mother nature making us scratch are head in puzzlement ).

um...oh boy did I ramble. Um...if this didn't make any sense just boop me on the head, ignore me, and i'll shut up...*looks back at what she wrote* i think i confused myself...eep. Anyway, I'm not attacking anyone here, just stating my beliefs and the little bit of fact that I know..

I do except people's opinions. I don't have time to argue with you. I don't want to be like you, I was playing around did you see the j/k sign for joking or the LOL? Don't take stuff so seriously. You get so mad when we take stuff seriously to you. Believe me, no one is jealous of you. And incase you did'nt notice, in the other post, i did mention that I am a new believer. I am not perfect, and I am still learning about the bible so don't judge me and think that i am perfect. atleast I try, so stop being so insincere or insecure with yourself. I just won't joke around with you anymore alrighty, how does that sound? I'm sorry if i made a joke, i did not mean to hurt you, it was meant for a joke I apologize.

Pink: No, you brush up on YOUR history! Years after Jesus and stuff, the Roman Empire converted to Christianity, becoming the Holy Roman Empire [true], and then set about killing everyone who wasn't a Christian.

SteelShark: You asked where DNA came from. It was synthesized from simpler molecules [Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Sulphur, and Phosphorous] by lightning, which happened more often in those days. Those in turn were synthesized from fundamental subatomic particles, which were created from energy by the extremely hot conditions of the Big Bang. Clear?

I don't want to fall out with anyone, but I still don't see why people need a God to tell them to be nice. Jesus was a Great Guy, we can follow his teachings about how we should treat each other without believing that he was the Son of God. I'm not saying that there is no God, just that if there is he's too complicated to be simplified in the way Religions try to do. It's probably too compicated to even describe. Why can't people be happy to wait and see? God's too nice to exclude someone from heaven just because they aren't Christian. I think the Middlesboogie's metaphor summed up Religion perfectly.

Shall I give an example of what i think is wrong with the Bible. Well, I'm going to anyway.

I have not been baptised. I am only 15. I may yet grow up to be a Great Man. I may be a Teacher, I may be a Doctor. I may do Great things for Mankind. I may be nice to everyone, to animals as well. I might discover a cure for Cancer, or a Hydrogen-Powered Engine.

But Whatever I do, my future after life is set. Because I have not been baptised, the Bible says that I am automatically Denied the right to enter Heaven; if I do not end up in Hell, I will remain in Limbo Forever. That could happen to anyone purely because of their parents' wishes. I ask you: Is that Right? Is that the action of a Just and Fair God?

I'll leave you with that thought. See you in Limbo...

Oh and, about that Body of Christ thing? Of course they never found his body; How many 2000-year-old corpses can you name? They may have found his body and never known!

OKay, let's just forget all this, kay Pink Haired? It really is pointless, besides, this topic is supposed to be about God! I know I'm defensive(what can I say, I'm from New York) and years of ridicule have ruined my life *sob* All this will someday result in countless therapy sessions anyway. But... yeah. I don't think anyone is quite understanding anyone else, and you are getting pretty defensive yourself. But, let's not worry. Religion always starts lot 'o' contraversies. Yeah...... so, how 'bout that monopoly game?! *grags at shoe* (fuzzles are cute, I must say...)
