I spent the day with a guy who was emo because this is his first Valentine's Day after breaking up with his boyfriend of five and a half years, and the guy who I like who doesn't like me.
Also, I went in to the city to meet them only to be told that they wanted to go somewhere two blocks from where I live. We then got lunch and headed back in to the city to see a movie that was sold out, so I just went home again. What a waste of two train tickets.
But it's worth a lot if you're into that sort of stuff.

See, this is one of the few celebrations the Victorians did better. Their St. Valentine's Day was romantic and fuzzy, ours is commercialized and depressing. Then of course, I'm a lonely cynical shit, so I might be slightly biased.
