MOD EDIT: This thread split off from the Sex thread here . Seriously guys, what were you thinking?
MOD 2 EDIT: This thread is now for all general TV talk, don't use the film thread any more. Fo Sho.

I remember when Rocko was overtaken by some STOOPID show called "Rocket Power" set in Hawaii about a bunch of idiot skater stereotypes that appealed to all the young skater stereotypes.

That show may have had skateboarding in Hawaii, but Rocko had Patch O' Heaven Trailer Park.

Rocko also had Chokey Chicken. Something that we can all relate to.

This post was much more relevant to the topic than I anticipated.

Actually, Rocket Power took place in California. I only remember that because it pained me that such a stupid show took place where I lived...Then they made "The Hills" and I wept for the days of Rocket Power.

Rocko was awesome, though, my favorite show ever. It had the distant kingdom of Balzack.

I'm sure I remember one where some young female rabbit tried to shag him in th car. He got the shit knocked out of him by her dad. It was great.

EDIT: This post was intended before Pilot's, therefore, it is screwing things up.

I got the fabrics and made a shirt. It's nice for lounging around the house in. Very comfy. Also illustrates how sad I am.

Best one's where he grabs the Hippo Lady's arse on "Rocko's Happy Sack".

There was a fat Hawaiian guy in it, who was basically a big stereotype. You're certainly better off never having seen The Hills.

Balzack...I'm not sure if that's the spelling exactly, but it was the episode where the Chameleon Brothers have a coffee shop and Rocko comments that the coffee is disgusting so they tell him a long story about working for the king of the kingdom of Balzack and made him coffee from socks. That was a bit of a run-on sentence but that's the episode.

You want Hawaiian stereotype? Try Principle Kuno from season 4 onwards of Ranma ½. Of course, the twist is that he is actually Japanese and obsessed with Hawaiian culture, so the portrayal of the stereotype may be justified. Of course, he spent years in Hawaii, so he should know better.

What? Where did you find the fabric? Every time I'm in a fabric store I look for something like that but come up empty handed. Pics??

Did anyone get the game they were all playing in the Innuendo #2 Video? Paddles? Monkey?..... hmm.....

I actually found a blue fabric, and a purple fabric, then cut purple triangles out of the purple and stitched them to it. Doesn't look quite as great, but I made a clean job of it, so it's not so noticeable. I'll try and get pictures soon, but don't count on it. There's something very wrong with out camera, but we don't want to get rid of it, because it occasionally takes successful pictures.

Hmm, I think this all should be part of the sex thread because of what it invariably involves. What'dya think?

Rocko was pure awesomeness, but don't rag on Rocket Power either, it's still better than most of the shows on Nickelodeon and CN combined.

Rugrats.

Terrible design, surprisingly clever plot elements, then it all went to shit.
