Empty is good. I prefer an uncluttered desktop; things are only placed there if I use them all the time or if it's something I need to remind myself to do.

I hate not being able to see my wallpaper. I think that's the whole point of a desktop. To either make it look lovely, or clutter it with icons. Your choice.

It's just Minor sutff like the sound cutting out, usually after I save so I basically just have to start it up again everytime that happens.

No. The classic skin simply reminds me of the good old days of Win95. Ah, the days where I could play DOS based games without an emulator.
