Your absolute tip top tippity top of the morning fancy pancy favourite political news source. It can be online, it can be FOX, it can be Counterpunch, it can be the Guardian, it can be the BBC, it can be CBS, it can be freakin Jew Watch if you want it to.

Mine has to be LGF.

CNN? I guess. Lou Dobbs is a whiny loser, though.

I don't think you can get the BBC on basic cable here in America. At least not where I live.

The Colbert Report, or The Daily Show.

Always get hard-hitting, truthful, no-bullshit reports with those guys.

You do realise the Colbert Report is a parody, right?

You do realise that research has shown that viewers of The Daily Show and Colbert Report are significantly more worldly, knowledgable about politics and better educated than the average population?

On TV: The BBC. Have you watched ITV news? It's utter trash. After the Virginia Tech shootings, they went and found they guy who sold Cho Seung-Hi the guns and asked him if he 'felt guilty' and if he was 'going to apologise to the USA'.

Utter crap.

But usually I just scan the newspapers [as admittedly I'd rather watch Friends when I wake up then the news], and I read The Guardian.

I prefer other people to tell me political news. If it sounds like something I should care about, I'll go look it up on CNN for international news, or whatever source pops up first while searching for small scale stuff. This is all assuming, of course, Matt Drudge doesn't already have an adaquet story linked.

Drudge is a rather unfortunate last name, especially for a news reporter.

Number 1 source? I hardly think that prioritising a single news outlet is a wise move.

I mean, your favourite source out of your favourite sources. For example, let's say User X likes CNN the most. User X may also like BBC, Al Jazeera, and the New York Times in addition to CNN, he just likes CNN the most. A simialr thing goes for me.

I'm a drifter. I drift.

Okay. My favourite is New Scientist, I get a lot of stuff from there, though it's all science-related political news (most of which is science under attack and all of which originates in the States). But I don't read it for the politics.

I read all sorts of other things for news.

Various news sites, but mainly CNN when it comes to televised news. Even though it's just a talk show Real time with Bill Maher on HBO gives a lot of insight to current political and worldly issues and provides an interesting board of guests both conservative, liberal, etc. to encourage debate.

Yeah, I caught that show once in a hotel room in... Portland, Maine. He's awesome. Made me wish I had full-time access to HBO.
