Hm, I think fuzzles are more spungy like. More muscle then bone, I guess.

I doubt Fuzzles have bones, they must have a skull of some sorts to act as the cave for those stalagmites-for-teeth. As far as ribs, spine, yadda yadda, I think it's safe to assume they have either none of those or a weak, simplistic, bone system - most likely cartilage.

I always assumed they had a skull, and a sheet of cartelage that wrapped around their organs, and maybe a little spongey pad on their bottoms to allow them to hop.

Very good job on the scrab skeleton, by the way.

That's a pretty good anatomical prediction you got brewin' there, Matt. Unfortunately I can't find any fuzzle prod art to form my own theory.

This is...brilliant!

I'm pretty sure, though, that Fuzzles are more of a cartiledge-muscle being (similar to sharks).

*pulls out chart and pointy stick*

I theorize that fuzzles have a small brain nestled at the top of a mult-chambered skull, the skull acts not only as protection for the brain, but all of the other vital organs as well. The skull would most likely be open at the base, allowing the intestines to do what they're made to do, and below that is a cushioning muscular tissue that moves in a pushing fashion to create the bouncing motion.

Tests are on thursday, tomorrow a lecture on Barbara Striesand's nose.

Your detail in the bones are excellent, PippoTheSlig. I'm just curious why glukkons have huge heads for their peabrains.
Abeguy, maybe the fuzzle skulls have a thin layer of bone that is enough to protect the brain, but not enough to make sre they couldn't be squished.

That's why I suggested cartilage. It can be just as strong and protective as bone, but its more...flexible, you could say.

I never did get round to drawing oddworldian skeleons. Thanx 2 you I don't have to LOL.

The Inhabitants always do skeletal studies of every design they make, but check out page 212 of The Art of OWI, there is a naked big bro, to clear up the eye mystery. I've always called the slig tentacles "thrips". Can't remember why, hang on...

I always imagined a hole or ridge on the scrab skull, you know, where the black line is on their head? I think that's where they see, or echolocate, or whatever. I imagined the paramite skull is a mix of a cranium and a human hand. I call paramites and any similar species (we haven't seen yet) "phalagepods". Doing their skeleton is fraught with difficulties, good job.

Fuzzles are a tricky one. Clearly they have bones of sorts, but... Any creature that is just a head is obviously highly specialised.

Oh yeah, your pics are awesome. Awesome like a hundered thousand hotdogs.

They are all very good. The Slig, glukkon and Scrab ones are pretty much exactly how I imagined. The Fuzzle, I imagine to be cartilage rather than bone, so they can hop and squish. The Paramite is good, but my only critiscism is I can't see the skull anyway, so dont know where the brain would be, unless its the flap-like plate above the face fingers. i'd like to see a Vykker skeleton, I don't remember seeing those at TOGG> If there are Vykekr skeletons there, then I'd like to see a Clakker or Steef. Very good work, I wish I could draw like that.

Seeing as how glukkons, sligs, paramites, and scrabs appear to have descended from invertebrates, I always figured they had some sort of partial skeleton, with some "real" bones and mostly thick cartilage..But your skeletons make vastly more sense...

I agree. I'd like to see a Steef skeleton too. These are very difficult to draw, aren't they? *looks inocent* I tried it not so long ago and it's really a challenge! So give it a try

Anyway, I'm looking forward for more pictures !

For Clakkerz, look at bird skeletons. A Clakkerz' sternum would be small and under developed as they don't use their wings to fly.
