There are other, much better JV works out there, give them a chance before you go wonkey about IZ.
I hug you now. IZ is probably near the bottom of my faves of JV list. I Feel Sick (Devi is probably my favorite character from his works) and JTHM near the top... Blarg, but whose doesn't include JTHM near the top? Meh, I guess it doesn't have that much of a mass popularity... not anywhere close to the extent of IZ anyway. I still get all joyful to meet a fan of Jhonen's comics.

DI, I can't see you working at a Hot Topic store; I see you burning one.

Blarg, I remember seeing a sign at my local mall that said HT was coming there. I'd never been in one before, so I was thinking "Awesome! A neat little store with my kind of style! Whee!" Dear lord, I even hugged the sign... with Luke! (We should be so very ashamed.) Yeah... totally turned out to be the exact opposite (even though it took me a while to realize that). I do still buy a few accesories every now in then like a pair of socks or something, or maybe even a t-shirt if I really, really like it.

Jhonen is awesome. I got my first comic off my brother Casey like 4 years ago when I was 13, he brought it back from the US for me. It was a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac book. A couple years later I got a few more off the internet, and each year when Casey comes home he brings me a comic back.

Ambi, believe it or not, I was actually employee of the month two months in a row.

On the note of JV, and I feel Sick in particular...Envy me.

Ooh... autographedness. Fancy. Last Christmas, I bought an autographed B.A.C. (for novelty purposes only, of course) for Luke. But I assume you actually got to meet him and everything... lucky.

Yeah. As much as I dislike Jhonen's snobby attitude...I still have that particular comic framed and hanging on my wall...Although it fails to compare to some of my more noteworthy autographed comics and animation stills, it's still quite nice.

God bless Comic-Con.
