Hey, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is coming out in 5 days if you live in America!(I'm not sure if it's being released at the same time all over or what.) I can't wait to see it! I just thought that I should tell everyone!

Awesome! I hadn't seen those yet. It looks like there will be alot of action. Or maybe I just think that because I've read the books.

If you thought the battle in TT was great wait till you see the battle in RTOK. its supose to be 100 of times bigger and greater.

I am looking forward to the final chapter of the Lord of the Rings.

The books will always be better than movies. Movies are never made like the books. Look at Jurasic Park. The books were so much better. But movies that come close to the book usually end up being an oscar winner.

But in Jurassic Park (the book) Malcom DIED! And then Michael Crition made a sequal about Malcom! I don't get it. But the book was good, and so was the movie. I think that ROTK will be really good, but nothing can compare to the books!

There's just something about books that you just can't do in the movies. But it is great to have a film out there and actually see the characters you love and hate come to life!

I'm looking forward to ROTK, but I'm going to be sad that it's over. I've just loved looking forward to another LOTR movie every year and after this one it's over. But, we're still going to have a treat when the extended versions come out!

Anyway, who is your favorite fellow in the fellowship?

A: Gandalf
B: Aragorn(Strider)
C: Borimir
D: Legolas
E: Gimli
F: Merry
G: Pippin
H: Sam
I: Frodo

I'd have to say Gandalf is my favorite! Then everyone else is just tied.

Exactly.

Gandalf would have to be my favorite. I like how he knows everybody and everyone knows him without it being explained. This would imply that Gandalf has gone on many amazing adventures in which he's made many friends in many different places. Of course, there's so much about Gandalf that is a mystery, which makes him so intruiging as a character.

I saw a two minute preview....wow, its going to be great!

Its from the preview with TTT and it was online.

Anyways the official movie trailer is supposed to be out next month.

Plus as I stated earlier, in the final Battle Aragorn will fight Sauron, who will be back in his physical form from the beginning of fellowship.

A side note the week ROTK comes out, select theaters will be showing FOTR, TTT, both extended versions, then showing them back to back right before the midnight showing of ROTK.

Im really looking forward to ROTK!

Oh man, new line is gonna make a killin'! I'd love to see all of them back to back to back! Extened version on big screen should be very nice. I can't wait!

December 17, my friend.

Quote thread had me thinking......what's your favorite quote from the Lord of the Rings movies you've seen so far?

FOTR: Aragorn: I swore to protect you.

Frodo: Can you protect me from yourself?

TTT: This is what Gandalf says when they try to take his staff before entering to see Wormtongue.

Gandlaf: Would you part an old man from his walking stick?

Gandalf is a clever one!

I think the first two movies were great, my favorite characters must be Gollum, Gimli and Treebeard. I've seen pictures from the battles in ROTK, and it looks fabulous... But I don't like that Sauron is going to fight in physical form, I thought it was impossible for him to get a physical form...?
And I was so diappointed the giant spider wasn't in the end of the two towers, now I'll have to wait until december to see her!!

The Hobbit wasn't the best! They are all good, but my favorite book was TTT or ROTK. The Hobbit was really good though.

I can understand why they didn't have it in TTT. The Helm's Deep battle was only 1 chapter, and in the movie they had to streach it out so that it didn't look like a really small fight. I can't wait to see Shelob! And the part where Gandalf takes Saruman's staff! Tomorrow TTT comesout in America, so i'm exited!

I will hold my mouth shut about somebody that has just returned as I don't want to destroy this thread.

I read in the TV guide that Peter Jackson said that ROTK was going to have the biggest battle in the history of movies.

IN THE HISTORY OF MOVIES! How can they do that? It's gonna be the wierdest thing to watch on the BIG screen! Has anyone purchased TTT yet? I wanna buy it so bad, but I don't have enough money!

P.S. Thanx for not distroying my thread, but now you have made me really curious about who you are talking about. Look what you've done! Who are you talking about?

I read all of the books ages ago, I had the all in one aswell. if i am right (so im wrong) there was a spider thingy in the two towers, but they cutit out of the film because half on return of the king is walking back to the shire.
TFOTR was awsome
TT was even better, what with that huge battle and the fact that you didn't spend half of the movie going through the plot and story like TFOTR. In TT you go straight into it...

Lord of the rings is a really good film. But does snybody know if they shall be maikng The Hobbit into a film?

Spike...

If you would have read the whole thread, you would have realized that the answers to most of your Q's are up there! No they didn't cut Shelob out completly, their gonna pu it in the next film! I was thinking about that, what if they did make The Hobbit into a movie! I mean, the guy they used for Bilbo could still play Bilbo, because he's supposed to be 50 when his adventures start! Gandalf could also be played by the same character, and then they'd have to find a bunch of people to play all the dwarves! I wonder if they'll do that?

no, it isn't impossible. He has to gain more strength to regain physical form. If he gets the ring back, basically he can regian physical form and that's it......total chaos. If he does regian physical form in the movie, yeah, it won't be true to the book, but I'd like to see it anway (the visual will be awesome)

RotK is going to have major battle scenes. I really can't wait till December.

EDIT: Spoiler! Sorry if you saw this!
Don't go down there if you haven't read the book!

In the book, I think it said that Sauron had a body right before Gollum fell in with the ring, right? I might be wrong though. I watched part of TTT at a friends house, and it's so good! I love it so much!

Edit your post to warn of spoilers, Grig. Unfortunately, someone else has already ruined that part for me.

And don't worry about what I said. If he acts like he used to, trust me, you will learn who it is.
