I actually agree that the needler is crap. It sounds good in theory, but practically it's rubbish in any hands. I always save needler weilding enemies last becaus eit does such little damage. And i only ever pick one up if i have no ammo on my AR/Sniper Rifle/Shotgun.

The needler is great in the right hands. Ten needles to a covenant or flood will create an explosion, killing all but the strongest elites. The needler is one of my favorite weapons, I'm suprised a lot of people don't use it to its potential.
