The needler is one of the best weapons in the game. Its one of the only weapons that allows you to detect the invisible dudes.

I actually agree that the needler is crap. It sounds good in theory, but practically it's rubbish in any hands. I always save needler weilding enemies last becaus eit does such little damage. And i only ever pick one up if i have no ammo on my AR/Sniper Rifle/Shotgun.
