Lindsey, please try harder to spell properly, and for gods sake use correct punctuation where it is necessary. However, I won't start putting you down for it, or turn it into a subject of ridicule... But I do feel it's time you did concentrate on your English as Dave just said.
Ok Lindsey, you wanted to know what the first simpson episode was. The very first simpsons episode was a crude, five minute long episode entitled "good night". It came out at the beginning of (i think) 1990 or 1991. The episode is about Homer and Marge putting the kids to bed. But they don't do a good job of it. When Homer puts Bart to sleep, Bart asks about the mind.
________________________
Bart: "Dad... what is the mind? Is it a system of impulses? Or something more tangable?"
Homer: "hey, don't worry about it. What is my mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind. *a retarded laugh*
Bart:"um, ok thanks dad."
*lights go off, and you see fear in Bart's eyes*
Marge:"Goodnight Lisa."
Lisa:"Goodnight mom."
Marge:"Sweet dreams."
Lisa:"Thanks mom."
Marge:"sleep tight."
Lisa:"I will mom."
Marge:"don't let the bedbugs bite."
*lights go off*
Lisa: *stares wide eyed, scared* "Bed bugs...?"
Next, Marge puts maggie to sleep, singing the tune "rockaby baby" (or whatever that was called, I've long forgotten).
Maggie: *Is picturing the song in her mind. She is high in a really tall tree. A strong gust of wind blows and rocks her cradle. The branch breaks and she falls, screaming. She stops the thought just as she hits the ground.*
*lights go off*
Maggie: *eyes wobble...*
(ok I'm tired of writing the script so I'll just tell you)
Homer and Marge are in bed. They kiss and are about to turn off the lights when Bart, Lisa and Maggie run in and start talking all at once about nightmares etc etc. Homer allows them to climb in and he turns off the lights. The eyes close one by one until only maggie is left.
END

Well, that's about it.
Anyway, who likes the simpson musical episodes? You know like the Maison Derriere episode etc. etc. Man I love those songs and lyrics. My favourite is the maison derriere song, followed by the song entitled "see my vest".
