lindsey, I thought you were looking for another forum. Why havn't you left yet?

Canned Gabbiar 01-15-2003 07:28 AM

Hell yeah! I love the simpsons!

Do I watch it? Hell yes! I've seen nearly every single episode and I have seen the older ones like five times. My favourite episode would have to be the simpsons musical episode, where Homer borrows a old shoot 'em up western movie which turns out to be a musical about painting a wagon.

"What the hell are you doin in my town?"
"We're just painting this wagon... you got a problem with that?!"
"As a matter of fact I do... ya missed a spot!"
"well then grab a brush and join in!!!"

*banjo music*

"gonna paint a wagon, gonna paint it fine, gonna use an oil based paint, because the wood is pine..."

And I could go on and on about the script.

Second on my list would be the Behind the Laughter episode. It tells what happens behind the scenes and the simpsons past family problems. I could go on and on....

paramiteabe 01-15-2003 11:20 AM

Simpsons Rule! My favorite episode though is when Side Show Bob gets smacked in the face with all of those rakes hehe:lol: Thats one of my favorite ones.

Its funny when hes like moaning as the rake slaps his face. Then he turns around and another rakes slaps him in the face and he moans. Then he keeps turning around and more rakes keep slapping him in the face. I crack up when I see that.

And of course I love the episode when the Simpsons go out camping and Homer and Bart get lost in the woods. I love it when Homer rolls out of the bush with all those animals attacking him.

I honestly think the Simpson will never go off the air. I mean what season is it now for them?

lindsey 01-15-2003 01:22 PM

whare did you hear that but I think I postit some whare im staying hear my favrit is the holloween one

Hey PA, I laughed very loudly once I read your description of the episode. No, really. I started hysterically cracking up and rolling on the floor. I just couldn't stop.

Canned Gabbiar 01-16-2003 09:14 AM

Yeah paramiteabe. That sideshow bob episode was funny. It's funny how sideshow bob is riding under the convertable and keeps getting hurt, like when Homer speeds over speed bumps, pours boiling coffee over the side and drives through a cactus field. And then the rakes !!

FireFrog 01-16-2003 10:14 AM

I love that episode...

JESUS CHRIST LINDSEY!!! MY 6 YEAR OLD SISTER CAN SPELL BETTER THAN YOU!

I am the Biggest Simpsons fan!

Canned Gabbiar 01-17-2003 12:22 AM

Oh really? Can you recite basically the whole musical episode? I am the BIGGEST fan and don't ye forget it meister! Heh:fuzgrin:

Well, I can basically recite heaps of the scripts from most of the episodes, since I've seen the episodes so many times. There are a few I missed out on.. I have yet to see that episode where Homer allows Arnie Ziff (Marge's old high school boyfriend) to "rent" Marge for the weekend. In return, he would give Homer one million bucks.

OddPod 01-17-2003 01:20 AM

Yeah i really like the simpsons but my fav one is the one with all the small stories like Nelson and how he made fun of a really tall guy in a really small car and then the guy stepped out and pulled Nelson's pants down and made fun of him then drove behind him and told everyone to make fun of him too.

Arnie Ziff
The biggest fan...? Really?

I thought the biggest fan would at least be able to spell the characters' names right.

It's Artie Ziff, big fan.

I have seen every episode... THEREFORE, I am a bigger fan then you!:D :D

Canned Gabbiar 01-17-2003 10:45 PM

And can't you tell from my tone that I wasn't serious? There are heaps of bigger fans that fill their rooms with simpson merchandise etc. etc. And Mac, that was a typo... stop telling me off for typos... do that to lindsey man! Jesus...

And Mojo, just seeing every episode doesn't make you the biggest fan...

Ok, I've let off some steam... *breathes deep*.:fuzemb:

I was merely stating that a REAL Simpsons fan would make sure not to miss a single episode, no matter the circumstance.

Canned Gabbiar 01-17-2003 11:13 PM

A real fan does not have to be one that has watched every episode. Of course, if he/she has missed heaps of episodes, then they can not be considered a true fan. But just because you missed one or two episodes does not make you any less of a fan than a guy who has watched all of them. I just watch the re runs over and over and over again. And I've taken my time to learn the dialogue in the episodes.

Yeh, sorry I guess. It seemed like you were taking yourself so freakin' seriously, and I just love to burst people's bubbles. I didn't know it was a typo, or you were joking. So...no hard feelings, I hope.

And BTW, Lindsay is such an excellent target. I'm so very glad she joined this forum.

lindsey 01-18-2003 03:28 AM

hay just becas I cant spell you think im a littile kid im 12 years old I cant spell I dont geve a care I try and I try but I cant spell

dus any one know the ferst episod of the simsons

Disgruntled Intern 01-18-2003 03:54 AM

If you're 12, and are spelling this poorly, then you need to be concentrating more on your studies, and less on the first episode of the simpsons. So stop being a dumb little monkey already, and grab a god damned book. Not one with a lot of pictures, either.

I wouldn't want you getting distracted.

Canned Gabbiar 01-18-2003 07:54 AM

Lindsey, please try harder to spell properly, and for gods sake use correct punctuation where it is necessary. However, I won't start putting you down for it, or turn it into a subject of ridicule... But I do feel it's time you did concentrate on your English as Dave just said.

Ok Lindsey, you wanted to know what the first simpson episode was. The very first simpsons episode was a crude, five minute long episode entitled "good night". It came out at the beginning of (i think) 1990 or 1991. The episode is about Homer and Marge putting the kids to bed. But they don't do a good job of it. When Homer puts Bart to sleep, Bart asks about the mind.
________________________

Bart: "Dad... what is the mind? Is it a system of impulses? Or something more tangable?"

Homer: "hey, don't worry about it. What is my mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind. *a retarded laugh*

Bart:"um, ok thanks dad."

*lights go off, and you see fear in Bart's eyes*

Marge:"Goodnight Lisa."

Lisa:"Goodnight mom."

Marge:"Sweet dreams."

Lisa:"Thanks mom."

Marge:"sleep tight."

Lisa:"I will mom."

Marge:"don't let the bedbugs bite."

*lights go off*

Lisa: *stares wide eyed, scared* "Bed bugs...?"

Next, Marge puts maggie to sleep, singing the tune "rockaby baby" (or whatever that was called, I've long forgotten).

Maggie: *Is picturing the song in her mind. She is high in a really tall tree. A strong gust of wind blows and rocks her cradle. The branch breaks and she falls, screaming. She stops the thought just as she hits the ground.*

*lights go off*

Maggie: *eyes wobble...*

(ok I'm tired of writing the script so I'll just tell you)

Homer and Marge are in bed. They kiss and are about to turn off the lights when Bart, Lisa and Maggie run in and start talking all at once about nightmares etc etc. Homer allows them to climb in and he turns off the lights. The eyes close one by one until only maggie is left.

END

Well, that's about it.

Anyway, who likes the simpson musical episodes? You know like the Maison Derriere episode etc. etc. Man I love those songs and lyrics. My favourite is the maison derriere song, followed by the song entitled "see my vest".

Oi Mr MOD

WTF are you doing to the poor speller. abuse why dont ya.

Learn to repect people and teach him to spell you insane mod.

Now apologize and teach him the good way of spelling.

Disgruntled Intern 01-18-2003 02:26 PM

It's her parent's responsibility to make sure she knows how to spell; not mine.

I don't even think that she can't spell...but rather, is too lazy to make sure she is spelling things correctly.

You, on the other hand, have decent enough spelling, but bad ideas.

Tori 01-18-2003 06:08 PM

I do have a favorite simpsons episode the one where all the kids get snowed in the school. Then they take it over and homer has to get them out.
