"Break a leg" is a well-known idiom in theatre which means "good luck." It is typically said to actors and musicians before they go out onto stage to perform.
Were you expecting injury or something?

I'm on stage tomorrow. A murder mystery, this is the first of four shows. Performed this and next weekend.

No music, just good old murder and mayhem. Think "Miss Marple" Meets "Faulty towers"...
