So after a couple of years of searching (thanks lack of jobs in this town) I finally got a job, not a particularly illustrious one. Checkout work in fact. At Sainsbury's. But a job nonetheless.
Unfortunately I obtained the position a mere month before I'm due to ship off to university (results are out on the 14th and my Uni start date is the 7th of September) so now I'm at a bit of a loss what to do when the time eventually comes (if I get my results), do I:
I can't figure out why, but I'm just constantly really angry. Which of course makes me more mad. Things I used to do to help with anger make me more pissed because I can't concentrate on them well enough. On top of this I'm incredibly tired and just don't have the energy to act on my lividity. Which might be a good thing in the long run, but in the meantime it also makes me super depressed and feel powerless. It also doesn't help that it seems every single fucking person I talk to is badmouthing...

I don't have the heart to kick STW's blog off for my trivial bullshit so here you go. Plus the prior blog kind of defeated the purpose of my initial point in writing said blog.
So I'm working dicks for hours. Figurative, literal in my face dicks. Video Stores are incredibly slow during the later spring/summer months, combined with our surplus of cheap...
Well any way, yeah my Mum and Dad now know. My brother already knew but came down into the living room to show some support. Mum was fine with it, apparently she already had an inkling I might not be straight, which was a little embarrassing for some reason. Dad just rolled his eyes and went back to watching the rugby, not sure what that means.
It just sucks things won't be the same any more, like I've changed forever in their...

I hate these faux-shlock movies. Sharknado and the like, trying to be exploitation films or bad 80's horror or whatever it is they're failing at. They're boring and stupid and if you like them you should invest in quality horror/monster movies instead.
What truly irritates me is that a whole generation of young filmmakes seem to have taken a cue from the string of horror-spoofs starting two decades ago to make yawn causing 'so bad it's good' films that simply don't try hard enough...
Today I went to a trainee management all day interview. All the other applicants were black and at the icebreaker the two ladies (One of which was the most attractive girl I have ever seen) were paired up together. For the 'Things you have in common' question, one of them said 'Uhhh we both have black hair and uh, we're both black!' and started laughing raucously and I didn't know if it was okay for me to join in..
So.. i'm starting uni in september and i've got my tickets to freshers week.. Bit nervous i can't lie because who isn't when they are dumped into a place where they know nobody? Anyway, i was wondering if anyone has experienced freshers week and wouldn't mind telling me what it was like for them? I kinda know what to expect because its obviously a massive piss up Just interested in how others found it
