Don't you hate it when people post obnoxious text at the top of their blog and you have to scroll past it every time you want to read what they've posted? Man, I really hate that.

Photos from my visit to the country that is known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordanboi

Roman temple in Jerash, which is basically a ruined Roman city (some of its buildings have been rebuilt).

Hear is me in the entrance to a huge temple at the top of the Lost City of Petra. This thing is at the top of a really narrow gorge, on a plateau near the top of these desert mountains.

And here is the aforementioned desert mountains. These stretch on as far as the eye can see, totally desolate, totally impassible, like the wastelands from a generic fantasy novel. Totally striking and very lonely.

As I recall, the revolutionary treatise What I did on my holidays nearly toppled the Agatean Empire and opened the way for Cohen and his Silver Horde to seize the Forbidden City and assume Imperial rule.

So be careful with it.

wow I especially like the temples and the desert with the mountains it looks fantastic ^-^

Jordan seems to be very inspiring I want to go to the dead see too some day and to the red sea and to all the oceans out there <3

...btw i have a stupid question xD
-is it true that you can't get a sunburn when you are at the dead sea because it's so much below the mean sea level and the atmosphere is ...thicker(?) ?...someone once told me that but I never knew if he lied or not xD

Um, I'd not heard that but I don't think it's true. I think if the atmosphere was that thick, I'd have felt it when I breathed It's not that low, not much lower than the distance between sea-level and the top of the hill.

Argh, BM catches onto my plot to overturn the country into confusion and chaos. Back to the lair!

I've heard it too, but I'm told it's false. It takes longer to get a sunburn, but not very much longer.

The Lonely Planet guide specifically debunks this myth.
