Halo 3: ODST

God damn it and I pre-ordered it.

I'm not anticipating ground breaking storytelling. I'm anticipating playing Halo without the advantage of being a Spartan and having Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion telling me what to do.

Well, enjoy traipsing around an empty city for half the game then finishing up with an escort mission.

But seriously, nothing happens, even by Halo standards/

Never got into Halo. I never felt there was anything groundbreaking about it. Also, after experiencing online play I was, from then on, positive I hated it.

They are kinda milking it to death...

I tried so so hard to get into Halo, I just couldn't.

Played some firefight at the Gamescom and it was kind of refreshing... I'm not playing halo for the story anymore, only for the gameplay.

Fun to play (with friends moreso). Not much more than that.

I heard Halo is for noobs.

First Halo was great if overloved, but nothing since has been worth it.

The only reason I’m getting it, for the fire fight.
I knew you wouldn't be able to do much campaign wise. I would rather play in one element the entire time than play through multiple elements in only 10 or 12 missions.

They already mentioned it was about the events before halo3 and after Chief and them headed to Delta halo. So it was obvious that you were going stay in New Mombasa the entire time as well. You can't expect a simple ODST to clear an army of covenant out of an entire city.

I must agree with Shaman though, they are milking this thing way too much, It has to die.
Other than that I’ll say it is worth playing, maybe even buying… Maybe

I don't think you played Fable 2 the same way I did.

Im just gonna buy it for the gameplay not the story so much. Though, still, sorry if I don't trust an anime junkie's opinion on what makes a good story or not.
