What I Just Did, Right This Fucking Second

I just bought a house in a wealthy neighborhood, with a fantastic school system, that is fifty percent bigger than my current house, and is on about three quarters of an acre of land. I did this for 38,500.00. I'm what you might call a shrewd negotiator.

	Huzzah for you! Maybe I should move to Detroit. Around here you'd be paying AUD800,000 (~USD650,000) for an average-sized empty block of land. Might the cheapness have something to do with the number of people who have been downsized from the car industry and are now moving away?

	That's not a bad theory, Nate. I thought it might just be following the trend of the prices of necessities going down in America, like gas.

	Okay. We decided not to go through with this particular house. There were a lot more problems than we initially thought. However, we just closed on a house in Shelby Twp. with a little over half an acre, that is 1,500 sq. feet. It is in much better shape than the last one. Also, we got it for 26,000.00.
