Just thinking about it this morning after being reminded of my last visit to Wales by the sign for the train station in the National Railway Museum. I never thought that the name of a train station would make me feel stupid, but I don't want to try to pronounce it, as I don't speak Welsh, so I'll get it wrong.

I got there at 11:10. Got thrown out at 6:00. My only disappointment is that my brother tolf me that the Deltic prototype was back, but it actually wasn't. The Flying Scotsman's being serviced, and they've put an irritating little bit on the front of the Mallard (which is my favorite engine, by the way). Just missed the Sir Nigel Gresley which was taken out yesterday. Actually got a proper look at the Chinese train this time (enormous thing), as I was only with my nephew (who is the only person...

My DVD player broke, so I got a new one. This one doesn't play DVD-Rs, so I can't watch "Rocko's Modern Life" for a while. I still have the receipt, so I shall take it back and get a new one.

I also cannot watch "Polic Squad!" anymore. Emily is very happy about both of these programmes being of our telly for a bit.

I just woke up with my head on the keyboard. I have no idea when I fell asleep. This should not happen. I should not be so bored that I spend all night on the computer. Never will this happen again.

Do you see that? A silver and blue talking classic Dalek? Something which I could have had.

Long story short, I screwed around with one in a shop, because I had never seen such a good-looking minature Dalek. I could have sworn that it was silver with blue hemispheres, but when I went to actually pick one up, thery only had a black supreme one. I bought it, because Emily insisted...

I need to pick up my nephew soon.

What a fucking day. A full day off. A full day of watching cartoons. Call me sad, but I am not one to say "no" to cartoons. It's great enough when there's Ren and Stimpy and Tom and Jerry, but when your brother visits with Rocko's Modern Life, that's the icing on the fucking cake. And yet, I'm more knackered than if I was up and about.

There has been a downside to just watching cartoons all day - Emily is now convinced that I am retarded. There's no shame in having down syndrome, but...
