My prediction of when Stranger or Oddworld 4 will be released!

Ok based upon my previous information when I reserved OW4 for myself and some recient findings that I am not going to share, Because I must respect OWI and their coverup. I predict that OW4 will come out in June. I also predict we are going to get info in 3 weeks. Keep eyes peeled. Now this is not official so like before take it as a grain of sand. Its just a fun prediction I made based upon some findings. But if I am wrong you people can go ahead and burn me at the stake "gulp"!

But it doesn't take a genus to figure out what is going on here if you know what I mean. My lips are sealed.

Hehe I just love not telling people secrets!

Lets just say I know something you guys don't know.

Oh no no no! Of course its going to be at E3 I did say that it doesn't take a genus to figure out whats going on here. Its just there is something else that I know and I am not at any lyberty to say. All I know is OW4 is scheduled for June. Now wether thats official or not is my prediction. so we will just have to wait and see. But like I said before its a prediction nothing to get real excited about, but its a damm good prediction I might add.

PA, the "Inhabitants Anonymous" stated that the CG department is still working on the ending movie, and other departments are still working as well...it's not coming out next month.

So, you must respect OWI and not tell anyone of us the "secret". Well, if I told you a secret and you started going around and telling people that you have a secret about something that you can't tell them, then you're not a very good secret keeping, because a good secret keeper wouldn't tell anyone that they have a secret. It's not just keeping the secret, it's keeping the secret secret. So if AA comes on here now and sees that you've been telling everyone that they tell you secrets, they're not gonna like that very much are they, and people would be asking them to tell them secrets then.

Sorry about that, that's just how I feel about that subject.

But I doubt they've got very far to go till the end of making the game.

One other thing - if it was being released in a month, I'm pretty sure we'd already have news of it being gold.
As someone said, they havnt even finished the final levels...
after they have finished them, they have to make sure very trigger is working correctly, every sound is perfect, they have to playtest is extensivly and try to think of every single possibility that a player might do in order to fix bugs. if they need to fix a bug, it can hit that levels design process back by at least 4 weeks.
Advertising would have begun more fully - the game would be basically completely complete, so OWI would have probably given us a lot more info on the game in the May Update.

I'm just expecting it to come out in December. If OW4 is released before, then I'm happy...but I'm not counting on anything. Better to expect it later and have it come early, rather than expect it earlier and have it come later. Yeah.

I expect last year. But i'm not angry at OWI for taking a long time with there game, hey, the longer,the better

Wow I am gone for a day and look what happens. The truth of my findings is starting to emerge as we speak. Everything we are seeing now is apart of the facts Ive learned a month ago.

It said Oddworld 4 tentively release for June 2004.
Now notice I said tentively they are also looking at September.

OWI is in their final stages. Everything that I have stated is comming to pass right before our eyes. Evidence in all the new info we are getting from OWI for May's updates. A month ago the store told me for May there is going to be all kinds of bran new information regarding Oddworld 4 aswell as a host of bran new cards and pictures. Thats not a lie because OWI is doing exactly that.

I dident ask the guy what he knew, I asked him to look it up in the computer and it said all the information we are getting right now as I speak from OWI.

OWI is just about finnished with their game that they are in the final stages of developement like adding final CGI effects, movies and other details of such.

Its not going to be another year its going to be sooner than you think and that is truth. It doesn't take long for a professional developer like OWI to finnish up the final stages of the game. They just need a month, boom its on the market in no time.

I'm guilty of attacking you, but you can't blame me. Look at this situation from our perspective. Somebody says they have info, but won't tell us where it's coming from. Yet, they say it's just a "prediction." If solid info was shared, then it wouldn't be a prediction...it would be a fact.

Where does it say tentively, PA? Funny how you now use September because you realise how impractical you other wild guess was. And tentively isn't even a word.

The thing hasn't even gone close to gold. That means ready to ship, right? How can something be ready to ship when they are finishing final levels, adding power-ups, and making in-game videos? My prediction is late December. They have some work to do on the game, have to test and de-bug it, and still have to commercialize it. Its also what the actual company has been saying for nearly a month, not some date PA pulled out of nowhere.

true... if they still have to add things it means they are not yet in the beta phase...
if they are not yet in beta phase, then they are far from being gold
if they are far from being gold, then they are even farrer form releasing it

Well, I know it doesn't make sense...but I'm going to give PA a chance. I mean, he must have good info or else he wouldn't put his forum reputation in jeopardy like this. I'll wait 'till June. If it's not out then, we can burn PA at the stake!

Seeing as they didn't mention playtesters in the Inhabitants Anonymous we can assume that they aren't in Beta. They probably aren't even Alpha, cos that's when the publisher starts promoting games and booking adverts in magazines. Then they go Beta (when no details will change at all, just bug fixes) and then they go Gold. I think it only takes a few weeks after Gold until the game is released, at least in the US. It will probably take some more time until it gets everywhere else.

Now here is the onominous tip I got from the store. I asked the store if they knew when Oddworld 4 was going to be released. At first the guy said Febuary 2005. I was like what! Then he typed something into the computer at the store and said "Oh wait there is a possible release date for late June 2004.

I said are you sure? He said yes and showed me it. and sure enough in the computer thats what it said. He also stated that this is not an official announcement its tenative release time. He also stated that in three weeks we will get more info. Now with me I predicted June I am most likely wrong but I like to think I am right because I got this feeling. So sorry guys this isn't official stuff its all an assumption go ahead and burn me at the stake.

Rule one of Gaming news. Never ever EVER believe clerks at games shops. They want your preorders, and so estimate a release date and spread it around as if it was truth. When there is a release date, I'm sure we'll be among the first to know.

Little did all of you know that my reputation does not revolve on the respect from the main stream forumers. But that can change very quickly after this summer. I have my own kingdom on these boards in the form of a paticular fic or should I say animated fic that I have been createing with my amazeing mind of oddlicious candy of amazeingness

Lets just say I am a loner an oddball in the crowd whome has his own seperate little niche in the whole sceam of it all and that will show most apparant this summer. For I have been working on something that you will indeed worship me over Buhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
