Adder's Odd predictions

1.
With slig queens rebelling for more pay and better conditions to their spawn, Glukkons will start investing in medical procedures to prolong the life of each slig. In order to lower the number of sligs needed, Glukkons will fund research advances in sanitation, surgery, and understanding the nutrition side of food.

The advances in surgery will start a rapidly growing industry in plastic-surgery for higher-paid Glukkons.
The most popular procedure seems to be bio-luminecent enhancements to the iris, for that really blinding glow!

Other ommon procedures will include:
=Lower-leg removal
=Ear elongation
="Glowing" eye implants
=Teeth bleaching

2. "Adventure" Holidays will start to attract the more brave of the free Mudokkons in years to come.
This is a dangerous type of trip, almost like a right-of-passage. It involves searching for a bird portal, and running through it.
Where the bird-portal deceids to take you cannot be anticipated. This means you might end up with a 3 week hike home, or falling onto an angry paramite.
While popular, this type of holiday will not be avalible for everyone. It's very expensive to prepare for every situation possible, and you need a lot of courage to run into the unknown.

3. Power

With fossil fuel reserves diminished, Glukkons decided to find more natural form of power. The three main types that were successful were:

1. "wheels of wonder inc.": Using Muds the same way hamsters, this company encourages Muds to be useful by running non-stop in a large wheel. The encouragement is provided by sligs saying "I'll beat ya if ya don't. So run ya lil' bastrich!"

2. "Para-power(c)": Company product description: 'Get a herd of paramites on treadmills connected to a generator. Place a mud on a tether at one end. Let nature take it's course! (WARNING: Paramites might be too fast for certain treadmills. To prevent Mud deaths, use slow paramites)'

3. "Scrab-screen power co.": 'When you need more power, why not use what's avalible. Take an alpha-scrab and let him try to eliminate his reflection while generating enough power for all the bulbs in your factory! Our company provides the scrab, generator, and mirror for a low low price!'
