Airsoft Thread

OK Ferill wanted this thread started, and I think it would make a cool discussion, so I'll start us off with some pictures of my personal arsenal. (Please note these pictures have been adapted from different sources, as I currently do not have any photos of my guns)

FN P900 (Custom P90):

Beretta M9 elite:

Ingram Mach-10:

M4A1 + M203 Grenade Launcher:

Beretta Super Elitist:

H&K PSG-1

Since you have the dough, pick up a pulse rifle (Aliens, of course). It's been a while since I've been up to date with airsoft, but I remember there being a kit that would attach around a Thompson. I think the novelty value would be great...

(And by the way, you're too rich for your own good. Start a homeless shelter for battered women or something)

Haha, yeah maybe I might just do that.

Erm, I've already got the pulse rifle. I haven't seen any articles on how to convert it yet though, but when I find one I might just ordering another kit.

I seriously doubt that you could afford all that, if you could then you wouldn't be sitting at your computer like a beached whale with the rest of us deadbeat forum members.

My airsoft gear cost me about £2500. I happen to love airsoft, and although I don't do it every day, I am happy to invest in it. I don't see what is so unbelievable (or expensive) about that...

And I resent the implication that I do nothing except sit in front of my computer all day. I do not. In fact I spend very little time on the forum. You have absolutely no idea what I do while I'm not on the forums, therefore you have no right to suggest that I A) can't afford anything and B) sit in front of my computer all day.

Eversley eh? Oh well, at least you aren't too far from the New Forest, which is a good place for airsoft/paintball. Especially if you have no liscense, because it's pretty big and open.

There's probably a McDonalds or Tescos near you that could stand to fill a few positions. If all you want is just a bit of extra cash here and there, Tescos would be the best bet. Much less stressful than a MankDonalds.

Or picking up all the non-bio-degradeable BBs. Ugh. That's such a boring job.

I used to have a job at a paintball centre before I moved to the UK. That was pretty good fun. You would have different roles depending on what the manager would want you to do that day. Sometimes you would be giving safety instructions, other times you would referee a match, and most often you would be cleaning paint off stuff. But it was still fun.

You don't need that in the UK. You have a national work insurance, which covers you and any company you work with. If you are under 16, you don't have one by default, but if you do choose to work for someone, part or full time, it gets automatically sent to you.

Okay okay, Death don't take it too seriously, I was just having a small petty joke, I meant nothing by it. And as for bb guns I have a spas 12 shotgun but I'm having trouble getting it to work. And that toilet in the airsoft site, AAAAGGGHHH! That stank to high heaven.

Marui Spas 12 right? The spring version?

You probably have a BB jammed in the works. That gun is a little bit notorious for that. It tries to shoot 3 BBs at once you see.

Luciphers SPAS 12 isnt even Tokyo-Marui, its some other cheap springer. it was acutally better then the TM one when it worked. Very accurate for a shotty and it had a select fire switch for single shots.

no problems with my P90, my Dads making a custom sling for it and i blew hole out of a plastic chair with it.

Airsoft PM trying to get to you Death, clean out ya PM box.

Ah, yeah that's something I forgot to warn you about. The P90 is especially painful, so try and avoid aiming it at glass, plastic, metal, and animals. (other than, of course, well armed humans)

PM box empty.

the problem with Luciphers SPAS is that it wont load. You pull out the tublar magazine and put the bb's into that to load it. the bbs dont stay in it though, and they fly out everywhere. Very annoying. and when we finally get the mag full, it wont fit. Weve shot the gun for ages to try and get any jammed bbs out. Its hopless. Lucipher, you should really get a new gun mate.

My first bb gun used to do that. It was a small pistol, and would jam if you put any more bbs than 1 in its magazine. The mag spring was a bit too strong I think. Rather than just push the bbs up the magazine lightly, it would have loads of pressure behind it, forcing the contents of the magazine back up out into the chamber, causing it to jam.

the first gun i got was an EBB. It looked REALLY cool (black Colt Delta force special) but the crappy blowback design broke after about a month of use.

I think my first pistol was a black colt, but it was a cheapy KWC. My second pistol, was a Webly sig-sauer. I still have it, and to this day still gives the same good service it always has.
