I use Native...Industrial looks mighty cool, but I have a really slow connection, and Native loads in about half the time of Industrial for some reason.
Really? I was switched from industrial to native a while back, and then back to industrial. I'll have to try the load time thing. Much like with old, poorly done animation or internet streaming video, the choppiness and slowness is getting annoying.

The industrial style is more fancy, so it would take more time to load than the native one generally. It was designed for looks rather than faster loading. So if you want a faster loading one, go with Native.
I also heard Peter mention that Sydney gave us permission to use his old styles again ... maybe we should impliment a couple to give people another choice.
I use industrial. I was really happy with how the design came out. Plus I used to hate the native style for personal reasons. Although it doesn't bug me anymore.

Go to 'user cp'.............then to 'edit options' and there you will find the 'style set' where you can change from Industrial to Native or vice versa.

I want to use Alcars style actually, i like the one with cyan color. Nothing is on it except the title owf. loads very fast.

You mean Alcar's layout loads fast AND doesn't get quite as anoying as the Native version? *grunts* Give Majic now. *grunts again* Give Majic old styles. *roar*

i remember sydneys old style, it was before i joined (obviously) i visitred this place lots, i never joined because i wasn't sure if it was free or not, but i was young and naive.

Sydney's styles would probably be the fastest loading, as they have no BG images at all. They are just a simple logo in the top left corner and some custom buttons.
I actually think the native style clashes too much color wise now days. I got a lot of criticisim about it at the time ... that the green and blue were a bad idea. It would be better if it had a darker green in there instead of the blue.

I agree, i think we should change native style's color to yellow and purple. Those color are the most interesting i think.

Hello TheNative2003. I do currently use the industrial view. But sometimes I use the native view as I do like the colours and header a lot more than industrial. I think I will change again soon.
