What does your little sentence mean in English?

My German is ubersucky, and I could be giving it up for GCSEs. As far as i could translate, Oddys's sentence reads:

"Now, I come from Germany, and I speak somthing better German than English. That lays (as in 'is positioned') something something, that I live here."

Wohl might be 'though', as in obwohl (although).

How ironic... I'm making a mock-enlistment poster for an art project, and I want the text to be in German. I was wondering if someone could translate this for me...
