All of it but its comming back and with new things aswell. Just wait you see!

With the promise of Steef and ME and the rest of the quintology, I have no doubt in my mind that things are going to get so much better and far more interesting. Just think playing Steef will be just like playing your own movie. Now is that Alive or what? Lorne Lanning said he diden't like Munch and he said it wasn't what it was suppose to be. That is good news to hear. So I say lets foget about the failed past of Munch and look onwards to a promiseing future ahead of us.

I found the laughing gas as annoying as Abe did at times!

I missed the old Glukkon foot music. That music is so much better than the new foot music.

I also liked the dark nature of AO and AE and I think the level in MO that captured the old game the best is Magog Motors.

I also missed cooperative Gamespeak with enimies. Yes, insults were fun, but in the next game I think you should be able to switch back and forth between insulting and cooperative Gamespeak.

I don't think anybody gets mad in MO! I liked to start fights in AE and watch them kill me and each other!

Oh God, I hated the Magog Motors level, it was so unrealistic. I mean why is there some random walkway lined with bombs? You don't even need to ever go across it. The first part of the Boiler Room best represents the darkness of the original games, and I love Splinterz Manufacturing because of its more open design and greater gameplay possibilities.

One thing I did miss in MO that hasn't, I don't think, been said here before were the backgrounds. In the first games every single screen had a beautiful backdrops to it, from the endless twisted jungle of Necrum to the stacked-up crates of SoulStorm Brew in the FeeCo Depot, to the huge pipes and machinery in RuptureFarms, and so on - you've seen it all. In MO, there is none of that, only either a cliff or an endless sea of fog, neither of which do anything to prevent the game design from seeming nothing more than a set of levels.

Yeah, I don't like that dumb fog! I love the old backgrounds too! I miss them, I also miss Elum, like really bad! Elum was so cool! WHo else likes Elum? Anyway, I think the boiler room did the best to bring back the darkness of the old games, but my favorite level is Resuvor row! I just like it!

yes I can do it but I won't... this is far too cruel
are you guys realizing that we are still complaining about a game that came out a year ago, THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO HELP OWI...

They know what went wrong and they won't do it again (hopefully)

just give them a break

Ok, Xav's right, I really like MO too! I support OWI all the way! We do need to give Lorne a break, he thought that he was making an awesome game when he started it, but in the switch to XBOX they lost lots of time. I'll be happy with whatever OWI comes out with in the future!

I don't see what's wrong with criticising MO, just because it came out a long time ago. It gives us a chance to share our views on what went wrong and hence find more to appreciate in the original games. I know that's exactly what it's done for me.

We don't know that OWI are fully aware of what we dislike about the games, and it can never hurt to talk about it. They know we're not jumping on their backs or anything, because we all understand about the problems with modelling a game equal to the first two but in 3D, developing for a system with many potholes in it and then transferring to a different system. What made AE such a success was that OWI listened to what fans thought about the game, hence we have the removal of the (so-called) annoying bats and bees, easier game overall, QuikSave, more character emotion and personality... I really do not see anything wrong with criticism.

But you have no idea what they're making for the future...

I miss Abe rolling! That was my favorite way to get around! Maybe in the next game with Abe he can roll and jump like in Jak and Daxter!

Abe kinda got in his sort of "rolling stance" when you jumped with him in MO.

That's because for the most part they're shooting you not with actual bullets but with cans of brew and syringes. They would have been fine if they'd have got you addicted as the previews drooled over, but instead they completely replaced proper weapons, leaving us with some awful compromise between the two - weapons designed to attract customers which in fact kill you, and the ability just to jump around a lot in order not to get shot too much. You can easily play through the entire of MO without ever dying, yet part of AO's charm was its frustration factor, not because of twisted cameras or bizarre AI, but because the gameplay was hard.
