I was wondering after the toy part how about some books on AO AE and MO and if so SS (Slig storm and SO sqweeks Oddysee)

We talked a little about comic books already. I'm afraid that books would turn out to be more like young adult novels. You know, like goosebumps and all that drivel. I think that you would have to have the visuals for an on paper version of oddworld to work.

It's difficult to image an Oddworld novel, since so much of it's beauty relies on the imagery. If it's going to include CGI, then the same with my idea about comic books - they look tacky in books.

let oddworld in animated CG please, it's the best... don't try to make something else of it
