For me I like to use Munch more than I would use Abe. Sure you need Abe to move the Mudokins around but I tend to stick with Munch as much as I can in the game. Like when I am outside of Glukkon Facilities I alweys stick with Munch and I command Abe to follow me until we have to split apart then it is a little bit of a switching back and forth. But mostly its Munch. To me I think Munch is more fun to use compared to Abe. Plus it gives MO a little bit more of a challenge when your useing Munch a lot.
Abe- because he's faster, can fight back more (unless you happen to have a Zap vendo nearby) can possess things, and can control mud's which there are more of in the game than fuzzles.
Abe, mainly because he can still get across bodies of water with relative ease, he can fight back, hes faster than Much (except for the wheelchair), and he doesn't annoy the hell out of me when you walk with him. O yes, and he can chant. Ooo, chant...
Wow I guess I am the only one who likes Munch around here. Actually I like them both the same way. It really doesn't make so much a difference with me. I like useing Munch because one its Munch's adventure and two I find controling him rather artistically different and versital. Like you got a wheel chair which moves much faster than Abe's run I might add and the fact you swim makes for a rather stealthy like game play in Oddworld. Don't get me wrong though Abe is cool its only that I like seeing new things. Chanting and sneaking out of shadows is fun but I need something different and odd every time and Munch is deffenitly different when it comes to handleing enamys.
Its that stealthy game play I like so much about our characters. In AE and AO Abe was like real stealthy now its more with Munch to me at least than with Abe. And who knows that will probabaly change as we are introduce to future heroes like Squeek. I mean Squeek can be just about anything. But for some odd reason I balieve he will be some kind of flying creature. I don't know I just got this feeling.

I don't really use either one more than the other (unless I have to or unless I'm messing around with the sligs/vykkers and the snuzis and blitzpackers... man blitzpackers are sweet). I guess I tend to use Abe more than munch because he moves faster and is more versatile. I like using him to carry Munch around. It's funny how Munch squirms.
