Hello there new members! I'm the small can of expired gabbiar but you can just call me Roy. This is my first post in a while (since my computer was taken away for repairs). Anyway onto the point...
Futuresal does have a valid point. Paramites and Sligs may have descended from the same species. However, after a long time, their genetic code may have separated in order to better adapt to their surroundings. Sligs, if I'm not mistaken, used to be swamp dwelling creatures right? Soft, mushy ground would have made it impractical for feet (unless they had a very large surface area) and so, in response, they stopped (if they ever did) growing legs. They may just have been like mudskippers, using powerful arms (flippers
) to bounce across soft, marshy terrain. Paramites are forest animals and inhabit the ground. And since they are carnivorous, they would need legs to be able to catch their prey easily.
One piece of evidence that may link paramites and sligs is that they are both VERY social by nature. Sligs and paramites usually congregate in groups (paramites especially. They probably do it instinctively).
But I'm not arguing with Xavier or anybody. I just want to make that clear
. I'm just saying..
