did I miss some thing here
|
The thing that is being missed is a lot of new members, are flooding our forum with spam to try and boost their Fu*$%#^ post counts. quite frankly it doesnt get you anywhere when you may have 10,000 posts and everyone hates you for what you have posted. the content of your post is what matters, not how many posts you have. Disgruntled and I are I think two of three staff members, here that have below 1000 posts, does it make us less than anyone else? no. does it mean that all members/staff members besides us are boosting their post counts? No. What it means is we may not have higher post counts than lets say Xavier, (Who does do a good job in posting I have to say, as well as being a dedicated member too) the two of us may have been here a year or longer, but what really matters, is what you post. Which brings me back to my original idea, post counts dont matter, its what we do, Our actions and what we do, and the way we view ourselves truly shape who we are and the people around us. Too many people I think our blinded by the fact that, all they concentrate on is trying to better their rank, and boost themselves higher, to make themselves feel better, or try and look better, and in the end most of the time really dont post meaningful things, or really contribute to a topic, or the growth overall of these forums. I hope Im not the only one who has seen this, or who feels this way about it. But if thats the case, I will stand by my opinion no matter what.
