We want to question the member of a forum from before.
It is a very simple question.
Do you think that ABE is ugly?

Sherry was speaking about the following thing at a certain interview.

--"We set out to make an unreal character "and Sherry says and@" That wouldlook like you or sound like you.Everyone needed to identify with him..(The Japanese wouldn't like it because he's not fluffy or cute-they don't like ugly things)''---

We (=atusiya@) are Japanese.
However, having regarded ABE as ugly does not have us once. And in many Japanese gamers, the our(=atusiya@) opinion is not special......

ABE is the ugliest creature i've ever seen, green skin, big yellow eyes, bad hair cut, his particulary bones and skins and he doesn't even bother to wear a shirt.

I think he's interesting looking. What really had me addicted to him in Abe's Oddysee was his voice... why'd OWI have to make him sound so nasal in AE?

He's a mudoken so i couldn't say, i don't judge how beautiful a mudoken is. But ugly or not, abe is still cool.

I remember when my uncle first saw abe and the other characters his reaction was "They're so ugly!". I replied that they weren't ugly, just alien.

Atusiya@, I am glad you do not think Abe is ugly.

But I don't know why Sherry would say that about Japanese people. I don't see a good reason to make a blanket statement like that

Me, I think Abe is beautiful. Yes, BEAUTIFUL. Laugh, laugh if you want. But I think he is absolutely gorgeous! He is striking and lovely.

His eyes are so wide and innocent, his body is so...shapely. His skin looks healthy and I love his sense of fasion! I love the way he looks! I'm obsessed with him. He is the hottest thing ever!

I thought in this way.
The difference of the opinion of "ugly" or "not ugly" is a difference in evaluating ABE with the whole art work=oddworld'svideogames) and evaluating only ABE. ABE in the art work looks beautifully and hot, cool,lalala......
However, a certain man will say that ABE is grotesque or ugly, when the art work and ABE are separated.
That will be because ABE are only compared for human . (The skin of green, the left eye, a big hand, big leg....)
When people meet a different person from themselves for the first time, people surely have fear and uneasiness of a certain kind. They say then that he/she is ugly.
Any way...My skin is yellow. Do you regard me as ugly?..hehe..

I think Abe looks cool and Odd and very different from the typical Alien being. He has that ah defineing tone with his look. He has the innocent look of a child to his mother. Thats why I think when Abe meets Sam it is going to be an emtional scene. I can see the camera focus on Abe's face as a tear runs down his cheek as Abe begins to cry to his long lost mother. I hope the scene looks like that because it would be such a dramatic point in the quintology. And could you imagine such a scene? I could.

Abe is not ugly he has the innocent look to him.
