Bug in Abe's Exoddus

Maybe this should be Oddworld Help, but anyway:

When I run AE in Windows 2000 or 98, it often crashes. Sometimes the backgrounds are just garbled colours and yesterday when I played the paramite nest, there were no Paramites. Just dark scenert, spooky music and Abe running around like a madman.

Using Win95 compatibility doesn't work as the game doesn't even start.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I presume you mean hardware requirements, in which case the answer is yes.

is the disk scrathced or buggered in any way

no scratches - it still works on my old computer

Yes I did reinstall. Anyway, it doesn't work on my cousin's WIN98 computer either

AE works on my 2000 pro.
Try running the FASTEST in start menu.
