Blind How Much Longer?

man i feel like one of those blind muds. and i know its for our own good, but i wanna talk big picture here for a moment. are we going to have new oddworld game to play in the next six months? or is this going to be one huge wait.

Think along the lines of 3 yrs. People say AO and AE took around a year or two to make. Thats because they were on PS...ME or whatever will be on X-Box. So it will be longer...

I think we'll be seeing it along the lines of late 2003 or early 2004. Hopefully we'll get some screens and info between then.

I wounder if the story line for Oddworld 4 is completed or still being worked on? I see it popping its face on shelves late 2003 2004.

the main story is probably finished, but you know, some parts can be changed a month before releasing

we had to wait so long for ME cuz they had to drop it and start over from the ps2 to the xbox. now for expansion games they already have the game engine built because we have the first game. the next oddessy game may have a new game engine but they have been working on the hand of odd for quite some time so it should be due soon, unless they scrapped it to start all over too. late 03 is a really long time to wait. hopefully they will have something for us soon.

you mean MO... plus I saw that between AO and AE they made a new engine and didn't simply use the old one. so more work, more to wait

changing game engines can be good but the customers have to wait so long till the actual game comes out, its frustrating but when you do get the game its a wait worth while!

Actaully MO changed its code 3 times first it was ment for PC, then PS2 and then Xbox. Which took even longer, I bet if it was just left on PC we would have had it in early 2000.

wow, i didnt know it was originally slated for pc too. Im glad thay gave that the axe. they should figure it out by now, consoles sell and there is no installation for the game. im gonna post another topic, hopefully you will like it. its gonna be about the xbox and MO

I had that same idea in 1999 only with three muds trekking scrabania, one
with invisiblity, one with a portable rock sack, and one on an elum.
Controlling them are people all over the world communicating through headsets and planning their route and dealing with sligs, slogs and scrabs.
