Happy pants

There is already a thread identical to this one... I think. Maybe I'm just imagining things.

But my guess is that they are controlled by levers in the "groin" of the pants which the slig manipulates with it's tail thingy.

That might be true, but look at the good ending movie when the valet slig jumps out of his pants. He is moaning and bending over, and his pants movements correspond with his body movements. They are still moving like he's controling them. I think I'll go with the nerve sensors thingie, but I could be wrong.

can't it be something inside the mask...
In the past the mask and the pants were connected.
so maybe

I'd 'go with' a mix of them. A lot of Slig have the wires connecting the pants to the mask, but that might simply allow the Sligs to breathe (assuming they can't breathe normal Oddworld air, whatever that might be). I don't believe that to be true, however, because some Sligs, especially the Big Bros, don't have such wires at all.

My theory is that most Sligs need these wires, but some of the richer ones have nerve control thingies.

I think it's all in the mask... some are with wires... others with something like infra-red (easier, more expencive only rich sligs have it)

The mask is to hide the face of Sligs. Glukkons consider Sligs to be very ugly creatures, and perhaps Sligs do to. Ergo, they cover their faces with the masks.

No, Sligs can breathe perfectly normally in the wild, cause that's where they came from. However, the air that Sligs breathe might be different from the air they have to work in, so they need a mask to contain the air that lets them respire.

That would also explain the tubes going between the masks and the pants. It would also explain why BigBros have an air compressor.

There is probabally a little button inside the pants that when a slig is clamped in it activates it and sends signals to the mask. Like if the slig turns his head the mask altimatically understands what the slig is doing in which then sends signals to the pants to turn in the direction the slig is pointing. But of coarse it would all happen in micro seconds. Theres my 2 cents.

Anyway I think they have a special neural thing which connect them to their pants which is cheap to produce so maybe thats it.
